There are many bright colors, bigger text sizes, and relatable pictures for children to respond too. I would say this is for younger children more than older. There is a lot to look at throughout this book. This book would be grade in a preschool read aloud or on a bookshelf for ages three and up. There are many interactive activitiesY you could do when reading this. This could be used to compare fiction and non-fiction in a kindergartners classroom.

I used this book along with a fiction book to teach my Kindergarteners the differences between fiction and non-fiction. That's difficult to understand and needs a lot of practice.

I really enjoyed this book, especially the bright photos. *Spoiler* The four caterpillars really freaked me out.
