This book is all about the United States. I learned that New York and California are the most litigious states!

I wish the book would have provided more insight into why the silly laws were created and/ or why they are still in on the books. It is only mentioned in the introduction that a legislator on occasion will include an absurd amendment to a bill hoping to defeat it.

I enjoyed some of the inclusions of “unruliest rulings” but again wished more information on how the judge and or jury came to their conclusions.

There were only a very few bits that were interesting and/or humorous. The vast majority was dull and not worth the time.

Interesting book...I like books with stupid facts, and dumb laws especially appeal to me. This book has some good stuff, but it has some slow parts.
