Just another collection of fun, informative, and interesting stories! Some of my favorite stories include the following: the story of kids on sleds being pulled down a snowy road by a truck, the story of a family gathering black walnuts, the story of a girl and her cousin who was also her best friend, the story of a couple who had to overcome the prohibition of dancing in the Baptist Church, and the story of the organ in a church. Of course those aren't the half of all the delightful accounts of the times people had fun--without looking at screens. (Yes, the stories about TVs weren't my favorites) I especially enjoyed the stories mentioning singers I'd actually heard of!

Gramma Sanders gave me this book when Alissa and I visited her in California around 2003. It has a label in it that says: 24305 Lyons Ave, Newhall CA 91321. I don’t remember ever knowing that she lived there. I’ll ask Roy - maybe he’ll remember.

I waited too long. Roy died 29 Nov 2021.
