"Home Is The Garden...Where You Grow The Fruit And The Fragrance Of Your Life." (Mike Murdock, What to Do When Your Home is Falling Apart)

The Author says he wrote this book because of the homes that are crumbling and ending in divorce (reports say approximately 50%) around us. He believes that homes require to invest in wisdom and Scriptural counsel in order to prosper and succeed. This book endeavors to provide counsel to change your Home-world. He is not talking about a house of brick and mortar or land and real estate, but the environment where you receive motivation. He says, "You must invest whatever it takes to make your environment a nest without thorns."

He expounds upon the following 7 chapters in this book:

1. Treasure your home-life as your most magnificent asset and investment

2. Never forget that your home has an invisible enemy

3. Remember that you are the gardener in your garden of love

4. Make your home a recovery center

5. Learn how to become a spiritual leader

6. Embrace your home as your personal ministry headquarters

7. Sculpture your palace environment through the Kingly Anointing

My favourite chapter was chapter 3: Remember That You Are The Gardener In Your Garden of Love. He makes the analogy of your home being like a garden, and just as a garden needs care and attention, your home requires that same attention: water, oxygen, weeds pulled, flowers sowed... Like any garden; neglect will kill it...care and attention will cause it to flourish. He then gives practical ways you can do this. One example he discusses is "Love Talk." He says, "love helps qualify you to teach others effectively. Love-Talk should exceed Corrective-Talk...10 to 1".

There is some incredible counsel in this book on how to make your home a Garden of Love.
