Who knew that this would end up being an incredibly well written adaptation of Falcon Crest, Season 2. If you like the show, or like your wine with a side of drama - you will love this novel. I wish Season 3 also got the "Patrick Mann" make over too, he has the characters down to a T and his prose is just beautiful. You might not believe me, because, hey, it's a novelization of a prime time soap for the 80s, but this is a fantastic stand-alone novel. LOVED IT.

Ein typisches "Buch zum Film", das die Familiensaga der Channings und Giobertis rund um das Weingut 'Falcon Crest' mit all ihren Intrigen und Schicksalen in einem Roman zusammenfasst. Fuer alle Fans der Fernsehserie bietet das Buch auf jeden Fall eine schoene Erinnerung. Unbedarfte Leser werden gute Unterhaltung finden, sollten aber keinen literarischen Hoehenflug erwarten.
