Good source of information - with personal stories and observations that make it seem like you're chatting with a friend. I'd had no idea that Dinosaur Nat'l Monument is more than the dinosaur quarry and visitors centers - it encompasses so much red rock/desert territory to explore. This book got me enthused to do more than my young family had time or energy to do - especially in the mid-summer heat.
It's a National Monument worth visiting at least once - you'll appreciate dinosaurs and paleontology as you never have before.
BUT...the 3-day rafting trip down the canyon on the Green River will have to wait on my to-do list for a few more years...
