I actually enjoyed this! A lot of design books aimed at telling you how to get ideas and work with clients have a tendency of being dry and repetitive while someone interviews several designers with the same basic quesitons.
This one first tackles what inspires the designer, then how they work in the studio and with their clients. The author got input from many sources and included a whole spectrum of approaches, which was refreshing. There are even examples of the studios' work. I feel inspired! (November 2008)

it aims to dissect the creative process but we ended up looking at the gorgeous samples which this book is generous in offering.
