Here is Greenwood (Volume 1) by Yukie Nasu begins with Kazuya Hasukawa starting late at Greenwood because he was in an accident and was in the hospital for a month. He's been raised by his older brother after the death of their parents and the woman he loves is now his sister-in-law. The only thing to do is to move into the boys dorm to get away from the family drama.

Unfortunately for Kazuya, Greenwood has its own problems for him. Namely, his roommate is obviously a girl but she's living in the

This humorous coming of age story is set in a notorious high school dorm called Greenwood. We follow the main character, Hasukawa, as he was wacky adventures dealing with his estranged family, his strange dorm-mates, and his not-so-strange determination to get through it all. Good stuff.

Akhirnya kelar juga baca Koko wa Greenwood/Here is Greenwood.

ah sweet nostalgia. this series reminds me of the misbegotten days of my youth :')

not that i ever went to an all boys dorm full of hijinks. more that this is classics 90s manga art style! reminds me of the many hours i spent reading please save my earth and ranma 1/2. good times y'all, good times

plus you know. i was not above telling the occasional tall tale to a new acquaintance in my youth. the dickery in kazuya's dorm is very affirming to me. all the friends i've acquired at grad school are r

Here is Greenwood breaks the fourth wall, seems to be caught in a time loop and is haunted by the artstyles of days long past. Yet somehow, of all the manga I've read, none have really picked up the whimsy and angst of high school life as well as this series, without throwing it blatantly in your face. After his first love marries his brother, Hasukawa escapes from the horrors of the most socially awkward situation one can imagine, and enrolls into the dorm at his new highschool, "greenwood," no ...more

I would have enjoyed this series much more had I not somehow convinced myself the premise was completely different than what it actually happened to be. I had an entirely different idea in my mind and was thoroughly disappointed. Absolutely my fault, I know. Now that the drama series is out, perhaps I'll give the series another shot.

Confusing plot line, where there was plot. Ended on a poorly explained cliff hanger. Don't understand the point of Shun??

First volume, nothing really happens. I may read the next one, since manga isn't really much of a time commitment, but probably not.
