In a novel about the awful price of heroism, rookie pilot John Ellsworth is eager to liberate Vietnam from its Communist oppressors, while Army nurse Kate Moffit hopes only to rescue John from himself
So this book was cool in several ways, perhaps I am biased because I am good friends with the author's wife and the author himself goes to my church. But all that aside, J.D. Wetterling is an amazing author! He is very descriptive of what went on during the war he was in, his fears, his failures, his struggles, his ultimate salvation. Not to mention that the story is incredible!
