A great collection of generally hilarious anecdotes and quotations along with a few short biographies and interviews. What I noted was that most of the material was not new, that is, from within the last thirty years, which is probably a commentary on the collective education and speaking abilities of people in the world today.

excellent escape when you want just a brief distraction, or have a few minutes. wonderful quotes and essays sprinkled throughout on a variety of subjects. Some funny, some though provoking. Some both.

This book will CHANGE YOUR LIFE. OK, maybe not, but it will inspire the cynical, elitist, withering humor you will need to deal with the world going to pot. BEWARE: may cause an inability to suffer fools, which will be bad for your career and social life.

It's a fast and simple read, but very entertaining, especially since I've been a curmudgeon for 30 years or more.
It's a book that can be picke up a month later and still be just as entertaining as the first time.

Not as rich in its cranky humor as the original, but it still put a smile on my face.

Superb. Really love this one a lot. Filled with biting, incisive observations about life, the universe and everything.
