sometimes the writing style was a bit rough but I was amazed and inspired by how the Lord used and continues to use Ray comfort and his ministry. I have several more of his books checked out from the library that I plan to read.

I started this late at night till three in the morning and then the next morning woke up to finish it. For those of you who know the evangelist Ray Comfort, this autobiography is quite encouraging and will stir the readers to be more zealous to evangelize with the model that Ray Comfort is. He tells about his childhood love for surfing, being "successful" at an early age and finally find Jesus in his native country of New Zealand. His stories of his early days of serving God was enjoyable for me ...more

If you enjoy autobiographies - especially those that are written by Christians who are living lives that the Bible commands us to live, then you'll enjoy this quick read by Ray Comfort.

It shares his testimony from his days back in New Zealand when he "believed" in God, to the surfing trip he was on when his friend sat up all night answering questions from him. With details of his conversion, first publishing efforts and eventual move to Los Angeles, complete with an account of his time Open Air

This is a great book. Ray Comfort is a trip, in a good way. I was surprised to read of his encounter with a demon-possessed person, and the authority he exercised over it. It's rare to see a great apologist/intellectual handle themselves during a demonic encounter like Ray did. Usually apologists and intellectuals of Ray's caliber are only efficient with expounding doctrine, but not Ray. Yes, he can expound scripture with the best of them, but he also knows how to bind demons too, and send them ...more
This was a good read. I was a bit bothered by Comfort's reliance on feelings and impressions and emotions to determine God's particular will in any given question, but that aside, I thoroughly enjoyed the book! His humor is quite fun too!

A solid biography of itinerant evangelist, Ray Comfort, from his conversion in New Zealand to his establishment of Living Waters Ministry in Southern California. Plenty of great stories about preaching on the streets of Los Angeles. Mr. Comfort is a bold witness!

This is Ray's story! I felt like the was Hell's Best Kept Secret with inner city clothes on. A must read for all, especially those in urban ministry.
