Well not a bad book, but certainly not a very good one either. The first half is a pretty good overview of basic construction techniques. That portion would be fairly informative to the rookie builder I suppose, but most of it is available in a variety of places and common knowledge to most people who would be ordering a book of plans. That's what the second half consists of and that is where it really disappoints. The plans are more like overviews. One can certainly build from the plans, but one will need to fiqure out quite a bit on their own. That would seem at odds with the purpose of the first half.
