I first read this book back in the 80s and have been looking for it ever since to reread. Loved it - a great summer beach read - especially since it has pirates. I recommend it, but it is a little hard to find.

I'm giving this book four stars, not only because I liked both Brandon and Celia, but because this is one few Susannah Leigh novels that didn't turn out to be totally ridiculous.
For that alone, it's worth reading.
