The Beauty Of Truth

Rate this book
Truth, like beauty, is only skin-deep.

What would happen if an average-looking whitegoods marketing manager suddenly became the most beautiful man in the world? Would female colleagues beg him to father their children? Would a loopy idea to put works of art on the bench-top appliances become the greatest marketing success in history?

Mousy Mark Boyd recreates himself as a man of stunning, lust-raising good looks - and the results go far beyond his wildest dreams. But with success comes jealousy and hatred, Can Mark survive the raging emotions his beauty provokes? Will he learn where true beauty lies - and still turn a profit?

The Beauty Of Truth is a fearless send-up of the all-consuming power of marketing and the seductive allure of appearances. And it's what's been missing from modern literature: a celebration of domestic appliances.

I thought everyone was joking but this was definitely written by a man in the early 2000. “Blonde voluptuous temptress” 😭😭 its so bad its humorous

Dorian gray’s existence would’ve tortured him into insanity lol

Loved it! Tales of the City meets Fear and Loathing, and a theatrical ending... All the Elements are there, pun intended :)
