Shelves: cookbooks
full of universally known and enjoyed meals; no strange ingredients or hours in the kitchen; only drawback to this book is there are no photos but I didn't find that to be a hindrance; even the desserts are simple!

Not quite what I expected and not terribly helpful. We entertain on a regular basis and therefore it's not overly intimidating for us and we have a collection of recipes that work based on our experience. That said, this is a good introduction and starting list of recipes for people who haven't done it that much, along with cooking in large quantities. ...more
