This is a difficult book to review. Difficult, because I loved its page-turning quality and don't want to say too much and give away the plot. Let's just say in many places I was pressing the kindle button so quickly, it was as if I was watching scene after scene in a movie unfolding. I'm surprised my kindle didn't burst into flames. I MAY have to go back and read some of those scenes more carefully. Okay, calming down now. What did I like about Change of Heart? I loved the believable characters

Although the blurb describes this as a standalone book, I would heartily recommend reading the first book in the series – The Hollow Heart – before reading this one, if only to get a real feel for the characters and their history and, most importantly, Inishmahon itself, which is the real star of these novels. The author has created a community in Inishmahon that is totally believable, filled with colourful, very human characters who you very quickly warm to. At times I almost forgot that I was

Part two of a lovely trilogy
The second book in the Heartfelt series, ‘A Change of Heart’ takes you back to the lovely island of Innishmahon and back to all the lovely characters from ‘The Hollow Heart.’
Picking up from where ‘The Hollow Heart’ ended, gorgeous actor Ryan arrives back on the island with his young son. He moves in with Marianne, and they become a family, also helping out with caring for baby Bridget - and of course there’s Monty the dog too.

I loved Adrienne Vaughan's first book, and it was great to find myself back among her vivid characters. My absolute favourite has to be the flamboyant Miss MacRready, but the author has created a coterie of well-drawn people, set against a lovely and dramatic Irish landscape. This is a book of twists and turns, glamour, love affairs and emotional appeal. There is a dark side too. Totally absorbing, and would stand equally well alone. I highly recommend it.

Following on from events in The Hollow Heart, Ryan O’Gorman returns to the beautiful island of Innishmahon with his baby son, Joey, much to the shock and amazement of Marianne Coltrane. Their relationship hasn’t been without its ups and downs but Ryan is determined this time he’s back for good. Unfortunately it’s not so simple. Ryan’s movie contract is for three pictures, he’s only made one. He brings more turmoil in his wake in the form of his troubled and trouble making ex-wife, Angelique de M

A Change of Heart is the second book in the Heartfelt series by Adrienne Vaughan and although you don’t need to have read the first one (A Hollow Heart) to appreciate this book, I would strongly advise you to buy the two because they are both cracking good reads.

A Change of Heart is the second book in the Heartfelt series, I fell in love with the Island of Innishmahon and the colourful people who lived there in the first book "The Hollow Heart". So I was delighted to find the second book took place on the island once more. Carrying straight on from where the first book ended the story heads right in with Ryan stepping off of the ferry with his young son.

Inishmahon is a fictional island off the West coast of Ireland but it will seem very real when you read Change Of Heart . Adrienne Vaughan creates such realistic settings and characters that you live the story with journalist Marianne and film star Ryan as they cope with two babies, an ex-wife , a death, drug and arms smuggling and a looming deadline for Ryan to leave Inishmahon and return to the bright lights of LA. The plot is fast paced and the characters wonderfully depicted .I really enjoye

Second in the Heartfelt trilogy, in this book, Irish-American actor, Ryan, returns to the island of Inishmahon, having publicly declared that he is to quit his career. Marianne is overjoyed, especially as Ryan has brought his young son with him. Her joy is short-lived when Ryan's wife turns up demanding outrageous terms and conditions to allow Ryan to keep the child. Once more we meet up with the feisty Miss McReady and other colourful islanders - undoubtedly a pleasure. I can't wait to read the

2nd book in series...and worth the read. It tended to get a little 'windy' and took awhile to get where it was going, but still finished well and left it for the 3rd book (August 2014). I enjoyed the "Irish" of it, and the complicated relationships on a very small island. The characters feel like they could be your neighbors!

Movie star Ryan O’Gorman is ready to give up his successful acting career and settle down on the remote Irish isle of Innishmahon with journalist Marianne Coltrane. Marianne is already busy making plans and preparing for their new life. The peaceful new life they had both hoped to start living is soon shattered when Ryan finds he is unable to get out of the contract, he must complete two more movies in his trilogy of films. The couple also face further trouble when Angelique, Ryan’s ex-wife and

After reading The Hollow Heart, I didn't even let a day pass and started immediately this follow-up. The heartfelt trilogy is highly addictive, beware! The book could be read as a story alone, but why not indulge in the whole series? You will not be disappointed! I was hooked from page one, and, needless to say was on to the third book of the series as soon as I finished this one. Loved it.

Adrienne Vaughan has been making up stories since she could speak; primarily to entertain her sister Reta, who from a very early age never allowed a plot or character to be repeated – tough audience. As soon as she could pick up a pen, she started writing them down. It was no surprise she wanted to be a journalist; ideally the editor of a glossy music and fashion magazine, so she could meet and ma
