Very short and very sweet...until the end...for me....I didn't quite like the "miracle". So I feel like they had the baby as a just in case for Fiona if she ever got sick again. Bringing up the fact that Oscar was a perfect match for Fiona when he's only just been born, only 2 weeks old was too much for me.

This story is too short to even be a filler read for me. The story is so short it should be classified as book 1.5 for a novella. There isnt much to say about the book. We hear about what happened with Meghan and Liam in the past. Then she comes back. Then Liam forgives her. Then the bad guy is arrested. Then it's happily ever after.

Not much else to it.

A dramatic and suspenseful romance set around Christmas Time but not focused on the Holiday. This story is action packed and at times emotional containing greed,a murder, a traitor,a military coverup, a coding genius, and a family wedding. The serious aspects are balanced by moments of humor.
Navy Officer Hank Jared becomes embroiled in a murder mystery involving Director of Technology for Systex Corporation in Boston, Julie Trueblood while also to make his sister's Christmas wedding in the Adirondacks.

Suspenseful,action packed and a little twisted with a touch of the mystical and a sizzling attraction. Eccentric artist Gwen and US Marshall Colin Mitchell reunited 12 years after Gwen's husband David's death to catch the man who murdered him placing them in danger. There is also the hint at a new romance for Colin's brother Rowan and Gwen and Julie's flamboyant friend Becky.

Action and intrigue fill the pages of this story filled with with a complicated plot containing a marriage of convenience, a tangled forgery plot,a leading man with a double life and a rocky attraction at first sight romance. On the night of the Boston Gardner Museum gala introducing a rare painting from Rowan Mitchell's wife Tamara's Italian gallery,Rowan asks for a divorce only to have Tamara and their 8 month old son as well as the "Madonna Fornira" disappear and only Becky's computer skills can solve the case.

Meghan and Liam a love they shared, till other things happened in town and she left. With a friend and neighbor Rhea, she never said anything of her past. Till results came back that she wasn’t a match for her daughter.
Liam had a lot of family. Leaving Fiona with her neighbor returning home after all these years. Being told Liam served time for a crime he didn’t do, and returned to town, working and trying to keep his dad sober. He would let them all be tested, once she brought Fiona back to town. Could she do as he requested. Good box set that deals with members of the family and how love came and changed them.

nice short story

When I started this short story I thought it was a Christian book. Other than a prayer at the end of turn book I was disappointed. I would not recommend it as a Christian book. The story was nice and I would have given it a five star but the morales in the book were disappointing.

This is another very short novel (actually it's a novella but it is billed as a novel in the bundle I downloaded.) It is a sweet, simple, love story. I noticed a few grammatical errors and awkward sentences that should have been caught by a good editor, but overall, this work is well-written.

Enjoyable second chance romance. Liam and Meghan married and had a child against Meghan's family's wishes. Liam is falsely accused of burning down several buildings. Meghan leaves him when he is out one day and takes his child with her. Now, years later, Liam is out of prison and a successful businessman. Their child needs a bone marrow transplant and Meghan has to find out if Liam can be a donor.

They start spending time together and Meghan realizes that she made a mistake in believing that Liam lit those fires.

I really enjoyed the story.

Only a mother’s desperate need to save her child could bring Meghan back home to the family she left behind when she ran away with Liam. Her shame at their failed marriage and bruised pride kept her away for eight years. Her family had been right about Liam not being right for her, about him being nothing but trouble, but her heart didn’t listen. When she found Liam had returned to their hometown, she had to guard her heart against the pull he still had on her, but when the truth of what happened so many years before comes out and the life of their child is hanging on the hopes of a finding a donor match to fight her leukemia, Meghan may just discover that she had been right to love Liam. But was it too late? Was the damage already done?

Meghan’s Wish by Amy Gamet carries a lot of story and emotion in surprisingly few pages. Ms. Gamet did a fantastic job of providing background and creating believable and likable main characters. The flow was smooth, the tension ran high with just enough conflict to pull me in and make me believe!

Meghan and Fiona have been separated from their family for a very long time and are only reunited because Fiona is sick and needs a bone marrow transplant. Meghan left her family behind for Fiona's father, Liam, a boy who came from a family that the town snubbed and looked down upon, and were also accusing of arson. Later she takes Fiona and leaves her husband behind because some alleged “proof” is given to her that Liam is indeed guilty of the crime, and others. Her fear of facing her family, and that Liam will find her force her to stay away from her home town until she has to contact family members to be tested for a bone marrow match. To her surprise, she finds Liam living there, and prospering, even after he served time in jail for the crimes he may or may not have committed. Justice is served and a happy ending prevails when the truth comes out about the arson, and Meghan and Liam reunite and Fiona becomes well.
Sometimes when I read a book, I am aware of how the author probably wants me to feel, but just don't feel it deeply from the heart. I have to tell you this is not the case with Ms. Gamet's writing. This is the second book I have read by her. I enjoyed them both. This particular story evoked raw and true emotions that felt as if the happenings were going on in real life, and not just in a story. I thought it held enough promise to be a full length novel. It was a great story, and had enough background that it could surely have lasted. I prefer full length novels, but this author's work has been worth reading at any length.

My Reviews: This was a pleasant short read. I enjoyed the story line and the characters. I really like how it shows that you don't only make rash decisions as a young teen, or even just in your twenties but all through your life. I really like Liam and can't help but root for him throughout the story and am surprised at Meghan's reactions to different people. A touching story that made me tear up a few times.

Love's Greatest Gift is a novella about a woman named Meghan, desperately trying to find a bone marrow match for her 15-year-old daughter. When she goes back to her hometown to ask for help from her family, she ends up meeting her estranged husband who she hasn't seen in eight years.

It's a quick and easy read, and the story flowed nicely. It gave a pretty good glimpse of the characters, and I found myself rooting for Liam. He's an admirable person and just the type of man any woman would want to be with. Meghan, I admit, annoyed me a bit. I couldn't believe she would believe someone else over the man she has loved for years and years. She could have at least confronted Liam, but she chose to run away with their daughter. In the end, she did redeem herself in my eyes though.

Since I really liked her other book, I was eager to start this one, and, having finished it, feel the same way about this one. I found the two main characters, Meghan and Liam, to be interesting and believable. The story involves their love throughout the years, from their school days to older years. Despite the fact that her parents objected, Meghan’s and Liam’s love was true and steadfast. Liam wasn’t the sort of boy a parent might wish for his/her daughter, but the love grew despite tries to nip it in the bud. Finally, even Meghan saw what she thought was the true Liam and left. However, she returned to help her sick child and discovered things that put a whole new perspective on Liam and their marriage. A sick child will usually bridge and gaps and overcome any obstacles and this time it did. This is a shorter story that provides perfect reading for the holiday season. It definitely brings out the true season’s meaning and sentiments. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting a real feel-good story that will warm your heart and get you into a holiday mood. Meghan was just a teenager when she feel in love with bad boy Liam. Even though her parents told her to stay away she could not resist his charm. She loved Liam and knew he was better than his alcoholic father and rowdy family. Meghan found a chance when the two of them could meet and be together. After their encounter Meghan realized she was pregnant and the father of her child was accused of a crime he said he did not commit. Meghan and Liam decided to run away together. That was until she needed to go back to her old life and family to save her daughter.

This was a great short story. I was able to read it in one sitting and I did not want to put the book down once I started reading. I loved the story line. The story had pain, love, and forgiveness. I was glad that the story was not very detailed about the daughters sickness. This made it a good heartwarming story instead of a tear-jerker. With the book’s Christmas theme it was nice to have a good, loving family story. A recommended read.

I was given a review copy of this book through LibraryThing Member Giveaway. This novella is the story of Meghan and Liam, an estranged married couple, and their daughter Fiona. We learn that Liam has been accused and convicted of setting a number of fires. Meghan no longer trusts Liam so she has run away with Fiona. Meghan has also not had contact with her family for many years. A diagnosis of leukemia in Fiona and the need for a bone marrow donor prompts Meghan to reestablish contact with Liam and her family. The premise of the story has great promise but unfortunately the novella format did not allow the author enough opportunity to develop the plot and the characters. The story felt rushed and disjointed. That being said, it was a nice quick read.

Meghan's family disapproved of her relationship with the town drunks son Liam, so they ran away. Eight years later Meghan believes the word of one man and rather than talk this particular problem over with Liam she leaves taking their daughter with her. Their daughter is fifteen when Meghan is forced to return to her hometown to find her a bone marrow donor. See this is where I got pissed. Liam hasn’t seen his daughter since Meghan walked out eight years ago so he’s rightfully furious and so am I, in fact being a daddy's girl myself I’m more pissed for Liam than Liam. Meghan was not only selfish she needed to seriously grow up.

Thankfully it was short or we would have parted company a lot sooner.

Meghan and Liam were in love but were only sixteen. He was from the wrong side on the tracks but Meghan didn't see that. An event occurred so Liam said he was leaving town. But Meghan couldn't let him go on his own plus she just found out she was pregnant. So they left leaving family ties behind. Eight years later, Meghan and Fiona their daughter left without a trace because she had found out something disturbing about her husband. Now Fiona was ill so she and Meghan returned only to find Liam had returned to their hometown. Why had he come back? Did Meghan still have feeling for him? Could Meghan keep Fiona from her father plus the rest of the family - aunts, grandparents?

Can a father get a second chance

Another great story by Amy. Meghan has always loved Liam but he the boy from the wrong family. They ran away together as he was blamed for crime that he did not do. Meghan is now back home as her daughter is very ill and she needs help from Liam. Liam has missed his family but he is still so angry as Meghan just left him without letting him know why. Can they both move forward and work together to get their daughter well or it is too late to set things right. A enjoyable easy read. Well done on another great book

I received a copy of this novella because I gave an honest review for the author's book Meant For Her. I enjoyed this quick read. Like her other book, the characters in Love's Greatest Gift were likeable and realistic and the plot is engaging from the get-go. The only criticism I have is the length. I know that novellas are supposed to be short, but the plot could easily have been turned into a full-length novel. As I said in my last review, I look forward to more from this author.

Really sweet story that ended way too soon! I can't wait for the next book in the series to come out! Meghan and Liam's story was great and I loved the very small reference to Meant for Her, in the part where Becky reflected on Julie and Hank's wedding. I also LOVED who the fire starter was. That was perfect! Definitely a must read, but I do recommend reading Meant for Her first, as you'll get more of a feel for Becky and how she felt when her sister took off. 5 stars!!!

All I can say is WOW!! AHHH!! Even though it was a novella, it was all there.. Drama and romance.. The story is sweet and light.. In all of the 3 books I read, this was my favorite.. I almost cried on some parts. It was so worth reading and you won't be disappointed..

I enjoyed this short and sweet story. Meghan fell in love with the wrong boy. When she got pregnant she ran away with him. A few years later she got scared and ran away from him.

When her daughter got sick, she realized she needed her family. She went home to her family and found her love waiting for her.
