I’m a big fan of Cooper Edens and love this story about animals on a carousel who come to life. Daniel Lane’s illustrations are soft and magical.

Don't hate me, but I have no idea who Shawnee Bill is. Despite being in the dark, this was a sweet, fast-paced, short little read about circus animals jumping off the carousel (it is spelled incorrectly throughout) into the bedrooms of sleeping babies. Not much happens, and half the book is wordless, but it was cheerful and zany and soft and I liked it.
