I picked up this book on a whim after looking through the library’s shelves for a book on helping in relationships and was so pleased with this book. I appreciated how each chapter delves into different topics, and I wrote down lots of things that I felt I could apply to my relationship on how to improve. While I felt I have accomplished the aspects of achieving emotional intelligence, I still was able to take away important tools on helping and communicating in a relationship.
