Clintons writing is certainly gripping, with his well-crafted prose and fascinating stories it is hard not to keep turning the pages. Perhaps more importantly than that, however, is Clinton's deft skill of identifying familiar feelings with so very foreign experiences.

I've only just stepped into this read and am enthralled. I believe it will be one of "those" books that you turn the pages slowly in order to prolong the enjoyment! Stay tuned...

It was everything you want in an inspiring read and more! I’m grateful to Michael for reminding us how fortunate we are to travel the globe, experience, understand and respect other cultures and appreciate that which does not divide!

I found myself inspired and intrigued by the accounts and constantly ...more

You will learn that Fidji is an extraordinary destination and encouraged to stay at a luxury hotel which will cost you no less than 3000 dollars per night. Sometimes I had the feeling that the author was getting excited more about growing his "yet-to-visit" country list than really sharing his thoughts about different cultures and the art of travelling. If ...more

A fun book and a quick read, but the author enjoys name dropping, chartering private planes in South Africa, and staying at super expensive hotels. Nice to travel vicariously through him but not for the budget traveler.

Very fun read even though some of his suggestions are not for the 99%ers.

Lots of interesting things here and my places to go list has definitely grown, but I didn't care for the author/narrator.
