Clash of the Twins The relentless rivals Apple and Kola are back in business, and it's about to get real. With her traumatic experiences in Mexico over, Apple is back to being the baddest. Now she's determined to make her tormentors pay for the torture she endured, and no one is prepared for the terrifying takedown she's planning for those she once loved. Kola is dominating the streets of Miami, but the haters and South Beach cartels are itching to see her leave, dead or alive. When she finds betrayal in an unlikely place, she's motivated to come out on top and put Miami on notice.
Apple and Kola rage fiery warfare against the enemies determined to bring them down. But now, both contenders stronger than ever, will have to Face Off once and for all.
Nisa Santiago came bursting onto the literary scene in 2009 with her debut title, Cartier Cartel. The book garnered rave reviews and left her readers wanting more. She followed up with the sequel, Return of the Cartier Cartel – which turned into a national bestseller. The Library Journal declared that Santiago’s sequel, [Return of the Cartier Cartel] “Will keep readers hooked to the last chapter.”
Born and raised in Brooklyn, and now living in Harlem, the author is moving at full speed with her writing endeavors. Coined the Duchess of Hop-Hip lit, Santiago humbly admits, “I’m just grateful to be doing what I love as a career and not just a hobby.”
Her latest novel, Bad Apple – The Baddest Chick is slated for an October 2011 release date. The author emphatically states that her decision to start a new series instead of penning part 3 to Cartier Cartel was a brave one. “My readers love Cartier and they wanted more.” Santiago wants her readers to know that she has so many stories to tell and shows no signs of slowing down. Dirty Money Honey is an anthology with her peers, Erica Hilton and Kim K., Melodrama Publishing’s new trinity of authors.
This is a great series and the twist she put in this book left with a wow. Apple was such a b**ch but came around in the end. I wonder if there will be one more
Apple and Kola have nine lives, especially Apple. I can never understand twins that dont like each other to the point they want to kill each other. Glad Denise got though to them and they came together. I hope Apple finds her daughter and I would love to see her and Terri together. Guy Tony was snitching to save his own butt and became a casualty of was, what he gets. Im not feeling Eduardo but let's see what happens. Chico and Apple really went at it, her and Kola have bounties on there heads. Lets see how they come outof this and if they can get back on top. If they do, they will be a real force to be reckoned with
Say it ain't so. This story is not over and I ain't mad cuz it left me wanting more in a good way. And more Nisa will give. can't wait to c wats in store.
Now I know some people would say that the book dragged on and on and on, but DAMMIT I LOVED IT AND IT WAS WELL WORTH IT!!!! THIS SERIES HAS JUST MADE IT TO THE TOP OF MY FAV LIST!!!!!
OK sooooo Author Santiago we have some unfinished business here. I'm hoping for a final final you know we got to get the gottas before they get us kinda thing. A series of things happen here to stir emotional good and bad. To say there was closure nawww. we had a face off which was subtle now we need a tag team. Am I right or am I right. Excellent read looking forward to your next book.
This is the last one I think of The Baddest Chick series and the only one I didn't get to read was CheckMate because my library didn't have it but I read this one and it was so good I couldn't put it down for a second!!
This book was great straight fire. It was a lot of backstabbing and betrayal in this book. All because they could live the glamorous after the twins took over. These twins were something else they took no tea for the fever. I’m this book family and big mouths were there down fall. The men were just salty that these twins were more ruthless then they were.
I’m glad the twins got together in the end because those two together going to be crazy ole boy. Denise the mother was very wicked she was definitely wrong what she did out of jealousy but at they end she got her twines to get together and show them what they could really do if they put their heads together.
I think it’s safe to say that Nisa creates plots that are packed with twists. It is always a lot going on, you cannot get bored, reading one of her books. You may get lost or may not be able to keep up lol. It was a lot in this book! Shaun and Chico linking up 🤦🏾♀️. The deal Kola had to make with Eduardo 😮. Apple not being able to locate Peaches 😔. The death toll 🥳 Cross, Chico, Blythe, and Guy Tony. Still waiting on Copper, Nikki, and OMG
Book four absolutely warmed my heart on so many levels! I was amazed to read that "The Girls" finally came together as one! Certain people received exactly what was due to them while others were caught in the crosshairs! All in all, it was a very interesting read ... On to book five!
Book 4 of the Baddest Chick series finds the twins Apple and Kola still at war with one another, but this time, from two different places.
After Apple has been rescued from Mexico, she recuperates in Texas. Here, she makes friends, enemies and plenty of money. But, the one thing she still seeks is revenge, and she can only get it on the streets of New York.
Meanwhile, Kola is incarcerated in Miami. She, too, has gained an ally and a deadly enemy. Once she gains freedom, her sights are set on New York, also seeking revenge.
There is an unexpected family reunion, which causes more loss and an ending you won’t see coming.
These sisters were calling out to me, so I had to see what they were up to. I can’t wait to see what life has in store for these two. Again, I’m late to the party, but I’m here to stay.
I highly recommend this 💎💎💎💎💎installment of a great series by @nisa_santiago.
This was probably the best out of the series to me. So far. Several issues though. The spelling and grammatical errors. The fact that the author used the word "strutting" on every page to describe the way Kola and Apple walked. It was a little irritating. Why was the book almost three quarters done before Apple had a thought about her daughter? The Mexican brothel came up several times. She wanted revenge. Obviously. But, no thought of her daughter? The daughter she missed so much? OK. The story is entertaining. I would like to see what develops with the remaining characters.
i love the book. although i haven't ready the first three. the last one took me by surprise because i didn't think Kola or apple would make it out alive. at some point but they pulled through. they are some strong sisters. i actually thought they were going to actually take each out and not care but they didn't have the heart to do so. I want to know what happen to peaches tho. and what happened to there mother, really did he have to do that????? The whole scheme of the book was just interesting and I'm looking to read them all when i can order them.
I did not see the ending coming like it did but I was glad it ended like it did. Making amends and forgiveness is always the best medicine. Their mother really showed her love for them in the end until the end. That's what real mothers do. I'm glad the sisters realized they were better together. I hope this is not the last book about the sisters. Nisa Santiago can pull one more from this storyline.LOL
this book picked right up from where the last book left off the drama and supence had me wondering what was gonna happen next and the ending really thru me for a loop but over all it was a really good book
This book was really good. I like how the twins ended up joining forces and working together. It would be nice to see the suthor write one more just to completely put an end to the story since some things were left unanswered.
Ther was only one thing not put to rest which was the baby but I feel ther may be another book becuz Apple may not like the new situation her and Kola r in..
