Search-Locate-Annihilate-Mission. This was a non stop ride against narcotraffickers and 90's type drug kingpins. No character development here. Everything is black and white. Three undercover SLAM agents face of against a Mexican-Columbian drug ring. This was pretty much by the numbers. Still this was a nice blast from the past. When everyone was anti drugs. Hugs not drugs. Yeah, that all worked out.
A kinda forgettable Able Team clone. Its not written badly by David Alexander but it's very paint by numbers. The three members of SLAM are pretty generic and I couldnt tell you what set them apart other then their names. They have no personalities other then super duper soldiers. In this book they are tasked to take out a drug cartel partnership between a powerful Colombian and a more powerful Mexican. One of the team goes undercover as a Merc to get hired in and get inside the organization.
Has plenty of action and it moves at a fast pace just always seemed generic. Just kind of bland, can't really recommend.
