The writing is good and the heroine is like-able but the whole plot revolves around her great grandparents. The town is still hung up on their deaths (murder) and determined to run her out of town because of it. Big. Yawn.
I kept reading because I try to give a book a chance and about half way through it picked up as events were more motivated by something current.

I LOVED THE STORYLINE OF THIS BOOK.I READ IT IN 2 DAYS.I ENJOYES ALL THE DOWN TO EARTH CHARACTERS.I WOULD READ THIS BOOK AGAIN.

I liked Salting Roses better, but this wasn't too bad. It had a decent mystery and two good main characters.
