Who Do You Say That I Am

Representing the best in contemporary reflection on the significance of Jesus and the church, this volume offers a powerful antidote to the devastating and inaccurate pictures of Jesus commonly offered today. Written by six internationally recognized New Testament scholars and church leaders, WHO DO YOU SAY THAT I AM? clearly and decisively reclaims the biblical view of Jesus and the church for our postmodern age. George L. Carey, Alan R. Crippen II, Christopher D. Hancock, Alister McGrath, Richard Reid, and N.T. Wright.

A refreshing and enlightening series of essays by a number of prominent Anglicans, both laymen and clergy. The essays, though focusing on differing aspects, all stress the importance of having a sound Christology (the theological study of Christ, His person and work) in the church today. This is a pertinent message in light of the increasingly liberal and unfounded views (historically, spiritually, and traditionally) that have been advanced in recent years through conferences such as the Jesus Seminar.
