Pathway to Life -- Through the Holy Scriptures

Rate this book
Pathway to Life presents in a concise and systematic way the basic Bible teachings. It strives to offer a balanced, nondenominational approach to understanding the Scriptures. Where a biblical text can be interpreted in more than one way, this is acknowledged by presenting different views. Conclusions are backed up by scripture references. However, it is also recognized that some biblical teachings are humanly beyond comprehension and must of necessity remain, at least partially, a mystery. While the range of topics is comprehensive, the size and scope of the book do not permit an exhaustive study of any one subject. This book covers thirty-six biblical topics presented under twelve broad themes. For each topic, three or four key aspects are addressed by covering the main points and giving a list of supporting scriptures. To gain the most out of their study, readers are encouraged to check the scriptural references which sometimes provide additional information to what is covered in the text. The occasional short Bible quotations in the text are from the New International Version (NIV). However, the basic thoughts and concepts are the same in all Bible translations and therefore readers can use their preferred version. The aim of the book is to help people who desire to get better acquainted with the Word of God. For those already familiar with the Scriptures, the book may prove a useful review of the main Bible teachings, as well as providing new or richer insights. The material can be studied individually or in small groups. May this book answer many of the questions arising in the hearts and minds of those who seek a higher purpose in life and are drawn to the reality of the Christian life and spirituality - the pathway to life revealed in the Holy Scriptures. May readers of all persuasions who take the time to explore this book find something of value and be edified.

I am an Australian author focused on spirituality, Christian theology, and the reflection in nature of spiritual realities. Readers have found my books insightful, inspiring, thought provoking, worthy of reflection, and providing practical guidance for spiritual growth.
More specifically, I have written several books on the themes of Christian living and spiritual growth, salvation, God's grace, new birth, and the kingdom of God. The original ideas and much of what went into the books came by inspiration.
Another of my writing themes is nature and spirituality. Having enjoyed nature from early childhood, I have been able to later combine my love and knowledge of nature with spiritual insights. I believe that nature points us to God and reflects divine realities. This is the subject of my trilogy Divine Reflections.
In addition, two of my books are experientially based self-help books and deal with subjects of practical nature: "Abundant Living on Low Income", and "Spiritual Lessons from a Scam".
I have a degree in Biological Sciences and a Post-graduate Diploma and a Master’s degree in Theology, as well as a Master’s in English Language, and English and American Literature.
In the 1990s, while teaching English in the Czech Republic, my late husband and I had four educational books published by traditional publishers. Our conversation book, "Let's Talk" became very popular in secondary schools and sold over 66,000 copies, later going into a second edition.
Other than writing, my interests are in books and documentaries merging science and spirituality, dealing with health and natural remedies, and exploring ancient civilizations. I also enjoy nature walks, animals, art, and music.
Readers interested in spirituality, a fresh way of looking at established ideas, spiritual growth, and reflective living are welcome to explore my writings at my website www.pathway-publishing.org, my Amazon author page, http://amzn.to/1jxjH9C, and my Goodreads page, https://www.goodreads.com/author/list... ).
