Mason Langley. The (almost) perfect alpha. A gorgeous, charming, hot as hell, sexilicious yet kind-hearted, nurturing and encouraging man (with a slip between 74 % and 90 % of the plot…ugh). You've had the patience of a saint. Kudos, Mason. Then again, it was very nice to see a man who had to work hard to

What. The Hell. Was that?

Let me start off by saying I am an Ella Frank fan. I absolutely LOVE her books Try and Take and gave them both 5 stars. I recommend them to people all the time because of the characters, the plot, the steam, the angst.
^^^All of that was missing in this book. So Ella, if you ever see this, please ignore and know that I do love other books by you, this one just was not for me.

"Once upon a time I met a man who saved me"

Lena O'Donnell has been grieving and living with guilt over her sister’s death for nine long years. Since her sister’s death she has basically turned herself “off” and has shut herself off from the world. She hides behind her walls and a bitchy attitude. So full of guilt over her sister’s death, Lena thinks that she does not deserve happiness. Further, Lena doesn’t do relationships and she certainly does not want to pursue anything with the sexy owner

I've had this on my TBR for almost a year and when my awesome GR buddy, Rachel suggested this for our BR, it was all the motivation I needed to finally check out this author's books.

Exquisite is about Dr. Lena, a paediatrician who has her heart guarded up ever since the passing of her little sister, Carly in a car accident. For 9 years

PEFECTION wrapped up in 317 pages, welcome to Exquisite ...

This book is amazing, I will most definitely not have the words to describe this and give it justice. The authors writing style is gorgeous. I love how Ella Frank writes so intimately and thoroughly, i felt so swept up and involved in the story - simply wonderful. I am completely sold by this story of life, heartache, trials and love.

What a wonderful surprise this turned out to be!!! I originally chose get this book because of the cover...I just loved it. Artistic and sexy and eye catching, oh my! Now that I've finished the book, the cover actually makes me tear up a little. Once you read the book (and you WILL read it, you MUST read it!) you'll understand the importance of the sunflower petals making me get all weepy.

Though you can't judge a book by its cover, I'm so VERY glad that I did!

With a super cute, gorgeous lead male, some shamelessly steamy sex scenes, an up tight doctor, the heartbreaking death of multiple loved ones, a lot of sticky fun with some peaches and cream and possibly the sexiest shower scene I've ever read, this book is Hot with a captial H, tear jerking and an extremely gripping read. It's adopts the proven, common format of a contemporary romance; easy going guy meets up tight, tortured girl, attempts to break down her walls, succeeds, they fall for one an

I felt a little torn about this book. I did really like the story, I was into it and I did care about the characters but I didn’t really feel emotionally connected to it. If I could, I’d give the first half of the book 4-4.5 stars, and the second half of the book

Written from Lena and Mason’s POV

Ella Frank’s debut novel was exquisite, just like its title. The maturity level in the writing and complexity of the story and characters was outstanding and far from what I would expect from a newer author. The cat and mouse game between Mason and Lena was comically written, but yet the story was not light and Lena’s struggles with relationships were built

It’s time to feel again. Let me save you from yourself. You were drowning when I found you, but I’m not letting you go without a fight.

This is an intensely emotional love story. More than once, tears rolled down my face as I read this. It was an emotional roller-coaster – sometimes I read with a goofy grin, at other times it was quite simply heartbreaking.

It’s the story of paediatrician Lena and Chef and Restaurant owner Mason. Lena is a woman whose entire existence is shaped by tragedy. Nine

This has been on my TBR list for a long time and I was happy to finally get to it. And even happier that the H/h were something different...Lena being a doctor and Mason being a chef owner...who's still a bit of a bad boy, very yummy and the man can cook!

Lena's gone through some personal tragedy and even though it was nine years ago, she hasn't dealt with it and it has colored every aspect of her life. She is definitely a prisoner to it. And it's that tragedy that brings Mason into her life.

I really tried but at 60% (and nearly 5 more audiobooks hours) was it time for a (hard) decision...

I decided to just skip this book. I don't like this Lena heroine. She is in my opinion a too often very whiny, unpleasant, sulky bully "lady". And even if the hero is a sexy darling is it just too late now. This heroine has irritated me more and more and I'm, sorry to say, sick and tired of this book by now. It's enoug

Once upon a time...

‘Some things were just meant to be.'

Exquisite is the story of Lena and Mason......

Dr. Lena O'Donnell is smart (well, she is a doctor!!), stubborn, quick witted and has a great sense of humour but on the inside she is struggling through life, trying to cope with herself imposed guilt and, well, failing really. She's miserable, self contained, not really living....she couldn’t forget or move on from one fateful night nine years earlier.

Ella Frank's debut novel Exquisite was masterfully written. This contemporary romance was anything but the usual run-of-the-mill, it was angsty, deeply moving, and incredibly sexy that had me pulling at so many different emotions, from literally bawling at one moment to laughing in the next. Ella Frank has accomplished what every author has aspired to do, which is writing a novel with such complexity and grace that you didn't want the story to end. This book has all the ingredients of a perfect romance and it is mixed together exquisitely: amazing characters with crazy chemistry, great dialogue, good plot, fair share of angst, lots of humour & the HOTTEST sex scenes ever!!

I just have to mention the shower scene: for two people not even touching each other.. holy smokes.. that was SO hot!!

Can't wait to read Shelly's story next! I hope quirky Rachel features in book 3!!

Exquisite is a well-written, hot and emotional read.

Dr. Lena O’Donnell is an emotionally closed off pediatrician who harbors guilt for the death of her sister. Unlike some who have read this book, I liked Lena from the get go. Lena & Mason will always have a place in my heart, I loved their story, I loved the teasing between them, I loved they didn't go to bed on the first chapter... That first kiss, OMG! Looks I'm in the minority with this book.....

For a good portion of the book I really struggled to like Lena...even understand her. She'd had a long time to deal with her issues, but I just didn't get the rude and snarky behavior she showed in the first part of the book. The fact that everyone around her let her behave that way for so long....not buying it. And her treatment of Mason in the beginning, I mean seriously?
