"What the hell was that?" Quadie looked shaken as he took off the Fourier coil.
"What?"
"The ending. The beginning. The whole thing! I morphed into a--no, I didnt just morph, I became. What just happened is impossible, Carver! That program violates every known law of the Web--and probably several of natures as well. How did you do it?"
Carver smiled mischivously. "Magic."

I first read this book around when it was published. It took me forever to find a physical copy of it and since then it only gets better every time I read it.
I think as time goes on this novel becomes more and more of a reality. A cautionary tale of the changes in the world and how as we become more dependant on technology we become less dependant on humanity.
