It was interesting seeing this kind of critical analysis. I've only read one book from James Baldwin which was Giovanni's Room but now I'm curious about his other ones.

I suspect that I would have enjoyed the book if I had read the works of Baldwin before. But in my semi-defense I thought I was but had I had read the summary I would've known. Anyway, I will come back and reread it after I've read some Baldwin.
