I like these Eyewitness series because they provide lots of pictures about the places mentioned in the books. Pacific Northwest is no exception, there is a good source of historical data and places to visit. This is a good place to start your plans for travel, but hopefully not your only source of information, as this book only presents a general view of the area and it is not catered to your personal interests.

This travel book about the Pacific Northwest was cool as it detailed the different places out there to visit. It was cool how its short cap on the history of the Northwest. It was nice to have it example schedules for different days of where you visited. Overall, it was a nice travel book detailing places to stop in, specifically Washington, Oregon & Vancouver.

Solid guide. Helped me find new locations to visit for our family’s Pacific Northwest trip this fall and gave detailed directions of each major city. 3 Stars.

Generally a good guide when planning a PAC NW trip on the fly with little time. Good resource for scanning and gleaning some destination ideas to incorporate into our itinerary. Photos are key in familiarizing oneself with a region's offerings. Many of the guides don't have the pretty, glossy photos that these DK guides have. A definite plus.

I don't know why I even bother picking up travel guides from this series anymore. I always hate them.

DK Eyewitness travel guides are always colorful, up-to-date and inspirational/aspirational when planning a trip. This book is a nice addition to my travel library and is a helpful planning guide.
