This picks up with Ayanna raising Peanut and still not over the loss of Diablo. She is dating but can't seem to feel any connection with any guy she dates. Amaya is engaged to Kevin, but there is something lacking in their relationship. Princess is married to Tre and now raising a family. Everyone's life seems to be in order and they are no longer the same people, but somehow when they get together the drama is neverending. This was a great follow up and I couldn't seem to put this book down. Great job!

P.S.
I definitely wouldn't mind hearing more El.

Nika Michelle does it again! I have been eagerly anticipating this sequel and I was not disappointed. Talk about drama?? The book is filled with it from beginning to end..Twists and turns keep you on the edge of your seat.

In regards to the characters, it was good to see how Ayanna, Princess, and Amaya had evolved into women. Even though they still had some of their old habits back in the A, I felt like they had matured some. Overall, 5 STARS!! Looking forward to the next installment.

I knew it. I knew it. I knew it....as soon as those mysterious calls from the Miami number. Then she had not 1 but 2 crazies in her midst. Chapter 3 should be a dosie.

Book Review: Nika Michelle's Forbidden Fruit Series

I'm reviewing the entire series due to my eagerly turning the last page in one book and immediately turning the first page in another! I just could not stop myself long enough to write reviews in between so I will be posting this review for each book in the entire series! Forbidden Fruit was the first piece of work I had the opportunity to read by this author and I enjoyed it so much until I breezed through all five books in less than a weeks time! Nika Michelle is the real deal! I cannot believe I had her books all this time and had never cracked the cover and now I see I have been cheating myself because this was the first time I actually sat down and breezed through an entire series back to back in one swoop in a very long time! She took no time pulling me into this story immediately and I could not stop until I was finished! When I initially started reading, I had no idea this was a series until I got to the end of book one and then I had to know what was happening next, so I eagerly jumped into the other books in the series! She picked up each installment right where the other left off, so she did not miss a beat with the flow of the story!

The bonds and loyalties between the friends in this story were unbreakable! The one thing I really liked about this series was the fact that she left no loose ends dangling at the end! The men were true soldiers, loyal to their ladies and their friends and would do anything to protect them and their families by any and all means necessary! The ladies proved they could be just as deadly if you decided to threaten them and all they held near and dear! The ladies added a new meaning to the term ride or die as they had their men's back when they were young and continued to hold them down as they became older! As they grew older and had children their views changed and the life of fast money, glam and danger were no longer appealing! As the the climate became more dangerous, everyone scrambled to mitigate the damages and threats. If anyone could be considered an imminent threat to their safety and security in the future, they were dealt with in the present no matter who they were or how much love was out there! Family always came first! When we speak of family, many folks think of biological, however, these friends forged bonds and friendships closer than those coming from the same womb! When they loved, they loved hard! When they engaged in battle, they fought hard and together! Always having each other's back! Loyalty was indeed a must! When loyalty does come into question, anger and dismissal are the first courses of action, until those affected had a chance to digest the entire situation and realize, you cannot just turn love on and off like a water faucet! True love will always prevail if it is true, so when mistakes where made, it took a minute but all was eventually worked out and forgiven! I could actually go on and on and break this story down even further and then you will be reading my novel on a novel, so I will end by saying, I really enjoyed this is a series I believe you would definitely enjoy reading it as well.

This was definitely a five star read, so if you have not read any of this author's work let me introduce you to the author Nika Michelle!

Jaw dropping, pure reading satisfaction!! Nika Michelle has me caught up in her web yet again! Ayanna can't seem to catch a break to save her life in book 2 of the FORBIDDEN FRUIT TRILOGY even though she has moved away from the A and has made some drastic changes in her for her well-being as well as her son's. The problem with being a drama magnet however, is no matter where you live, or where you try to hide, drama will always rear its ugly head.

I love how Nika Michelle drops that "wow factor" in her books and I was not disappointed. I'm sure part 3 is coming soonbut Damn I need that book like right now! Keep up the great work!! #fanforlife

Forbidden Fruit 2 was full of surprises and new details following the first book. Ayanna is one of my favorite fiction characters; she has really grown since the first book. I was thrilled to see how much Yanna and a few of her close friends had matured. I love how Nika turns upsetting events into happy ones and brings the characters in her books closer together. The author kept me in suspense throughout the entire book, wanting to know who the mysterious person was who had been calling Yanna and sending the money. Was it Diablo? Well I guess you'll just have to read the book to find out! Once again great book Nika!

As with FF 1, I absolutely loved this book. It was drama filled, fast paced, suspenseful and kept me wondering what would happen next.I was heart broken after reading "Forbidden Fruit 1" but Nika made it up to me by making part 2 so enagaging and keeping me up to date with many of the characters I developed feelings for in book 1. There were many subplots within the story and each of them were entertaining. If you have read the first book in this series, I definitely recommend reading part 2 and I look forward to reading part 3.

Yanna seems to have bad luck when it comes to guys. I'm glad she finally got her true love back. Maya finally figured out she needed to put herself first then a relationship. Ju was there waiting for her glad they got their family back together. Princess just don't know how to keep a secret
