Frustrated was the first thing that popped in my mind when I got too the last page. Not because the book was bad but because we are left with another cliffhanger at the end of the day. I totally got lost in between the pages hoping that our two main characters Jaden and Ryder would come together.
But twists and turns through out the book just kept them apart. I must admit although frustrated at the end the author kept you glued to the book, succeeding in her ability to let you continue reading. W

Ever since I read the first installment in this series a year ago, I have been eagerly awaiting its follow up! I was not disappointed in the least.

Streaming Stars, the sequel to Transcender: First Timer, by Vicky Savage, follows Jaden Beckett in her further adventures in Domerica. She had returned to Connecticut at the end of the last book, and we find her reuniting with the quirky but oddly endearing companion and guide of hers, Ralston of the IUGA (Inter-Universal Guidance Agency). He gives he

I was mesmerized by this series, I couldn't put them down. The author drew me into the world of Jaden, with beautiful world building and elaborate plot. I left book one with hope Jaden would be reunited with Domerica and her life there, especially her one true love, Ryder. After reading book two, I'm left feeling a little hopeless. It seems the universe is against her being truly happy. Jaden's life is a mess, she's being pulled in so many directions, and the only thing she is sure of is her lov ...more

I think I liked this one better than the first - maybe because there was a bit more drama, conflict and "bad guys." I loved some of Jaden's one liners and inner thoughts and felt the author really did a good job of reminding us that through everything, Jaden was still a teenager. One complaint I had was Jaden's lack of conflict about leaving Connecticut and possibly never seeing her "real" father and brother again. She showed slighted sadness but I wished she didn't so easily replace her "real" ...more

Solid 4.5 stars.

I loved the first book, and had to read the second instantly. Although I am really sad I have to wait for the third.

The second Book surpasses the first book with the information, and background of what Jade is going through. I absolutely loved the new places she got to go with Asher, and the fact that she was able to confide in him.

In TRANSCENDER: FIRST TIMER, I loved Jade and Ryder together. I felt the magnetic pull through the words that Savage so beautifully wrote. I really

Ughhhhh the curve ball in the beginning with Ryder and Erica pissed me the hell off. Really? I already hated her from the first book. Then Jaden constantly saying how she's made such a mess of things and everyone being a Ryder sypathiser made me want to pull my hair out. Even though he thought her dead, she spent the last year searching for him, thinking about him, of course she feels betrayed and hurt. And to act like those feeling are wrong is infuriating. The way their relationship went from ...more

This second book does not disappoint!! I thought I flew through the first one, but it literally took me one night and one morning to read the second (I crashed during the night or I would have gladly stayed up super late to finish). I love Jaden's growth in this one so much. She has some serious choices to make in pretty much all aspects of her life, and they aren't easy. Though sometimes she gets overwhelmed, she faces them as best she can with so much strength and grace, showing how well she ...more

Jaden has lived the last year of her life in agony not knowing what happened to her family and Ryder. Now she gets the chance to go back for one month and decide if she wants to stay in Domerica, this time she gets a choice.

BUT things have changed, a lot can happen in a year and instead of the fantasy welcome she envisioned Jaden gets her heart get broken several times over. To make things worse someone wants her dead badly.

Jaden is brave and smart and I felt bad for her. Ryder what can

Eagerly waiting for Streaming Stars, the sequel to Transcender: First Timer, by Vicky Savage,I finally got to read it and I was not disappointed. Jaden is given another chance to return to Domerica and Her true love Ryder. But things are not the same and Jaden finds herself tugged in many directions. Her mirror mother is deathly ill, there seems to be a new love interest with Asher another transcender and Ryder seems to be pulling away from her. I enjoyed reading about Jaden and experiencing her ...more

Even after a year, and 70+ other stories I've read, this story still sticks. Looking forward as ever on the continuation of Transcender. Thrilled to learn book #3 is on its way.

Every bit as enjoyable as the first in the series. Now please bring on book three!

Streaming Stars is a fascinating story with fantastical characters and location. I am thoroughly hooked.

Surprise, another cliffhanger! :)

Oh dear me, the third book hasn't a publication date, yet…

This second installment was just as exciting as the first. Jaden finds herself back in Domerica, and in just as much drama and action as the first. This book was nonstop action with lots of twists and turns. Although I would have like to have seen more romance with Ryder, and a little less political content, I loved it and can’t wait for the next one.

Fantasitic book and even better than the first!! Readers are totally immersed in Jaden's life and share her emotions, from the gut-wrenching to the glorious. Many surprises and wonderfully well written. This is a book for all adult readers, young and old. I am waiting impatiently for the 3rd installment.

Mixed feelings about this one. I loved the continuation of the plot, but it lost so much of what I loved in the first book. This really felt like the characters were just going through the motions - situation A dealt with, move to situation B, etc.

I feel like this cover makes the book appear to be more of a risqué romance novel - but thankfully it is not. There is a little bit of everything in this story - g/pg rated romance, sci-fi, adventure, mystery, etc. Thoroughly enjoyed it!
