Novantadue passi molto brevi formano una sorta diario poetico in cui lo scrittore ungherese Oravecz insegue il ritmo forsennato del flusso di pensieri, di ricordi ossessivi, conducendo se stesso e il lettore attraverso le macerie carnali di una storia d'amore finita che continua ad accadergli nella memoria.


... ma vorrei, attraverso l'unione con te, vestire di un significato il mio corpo, e in tal modo rendere sopportabile la mia corporeità.

Röviden és tömören, ez eléggé lehozott az életről. Nem azért, mert olyan rossz, épp ellenkezőleg. Csak összetörte a lelkem, de amúgy minden fine.

Ez már a második alkalom, hogy egyetemi kötelező ennyire kellemes meglepetést okoz. Az első A fehér király volt Dragomán Györgytől - a Máglyát azért is olvasom olyan lassan, hogy minél tovább tartson és tudjam élvezni. Ilyenkor örülök, hogy a minorom megköveteli tőlem ezeket a könyveket, ugyanígy csalódtam kellemeset Esterházyban és Orbán Ottóban is, szó

Well, maybe I had my hopes up too high, but I was slightly disappointed by this book. You should not read it all at once, maybe leave it near the bedside, read one or two short pieces before going to bed. It's good writing, of course, but it's just too cheesy for my taste. I couldn't be bothered by such a whiny man, horrible. Just get a life, stop over-thinking everything and stop being hypersensitive! That's my advice for the narrator.
