I always love it when I find gems like this one on wattpad. There are so many amazing writers out there and I am glad some of them share their awesome work with us through mediums like wattpad. This was such a nice read, a little awkward, a little weird, a lot funny, sometimes a little bit dramatic, other times serious and down right hilarious. I liked the characters a lot, I liked the purpose of the book, I liked how it made me feel while reading it. I would highly recommend it to young teens, even from age 13+
That book was a little hard to read the way I did because I had to get a chapter a day thing with coins on wattpad but it was honestly so worth waiting each day to get the next chapter. I just think I would have enjoyed it more if I could read the whole book all at once. Anyway, that was one of those books where I was like JUST KISS ALREADY like come on but when they finally did I was screaming so frickin loud like FINALLY. Also that whole thing where he taught her how to swim and gave her lessons was kinda adorable. Also, I CAN'T WITH THAT FRICKIN AWESOME ENDING. The fact that he said,"Waverly Lyons, I'm gonna teach you how to swim" and then the last sentence of the book was "Blake Hamilton, I'm gonna teach you how to ski" was TOO MUCH AND TOO CUTE. Best book ending I've ever read. Also that whole last chapter just made me cry my eyes out. Literally second book in a row that I've cried in. Like seriously what's up with my emotions lately? It's honestly probably the corona getting to me hehe. That last chapter makes me wonder though......will there be a sequel? But I swear if there is and it's him coming to Alaska and her teaching him, I'M GONNA SCREAM.

I've read this book at least 7 times over (no exaggeration). So witty and humorous and the author created such unique moments-- I literally wish it was me every time. Characters are so well rounded and something about them is so new even though the overall idea is somewhat cliche. The author has taken literally 4 years to write three chapters and it's still not finished. I will say that the tone and humor has changed a bit in the last few chapters (which is to be expected because the author has matured) but that being said, I wish she wouldn't have waited so long to finish it. Oh well I love it a lot and highly recommend this read.
Kate has worked so hard over the passed 6 sic years to write this novel and I'm so happy I stayed with the story for so long. It was absolutely worth every second, every year. The relationship between Blake and Waverly is very cute and refreshing compared to many other teen romance stories I've read. And the book contains a lot of touchy subjects like love, loss, acceptance, neglect, and heartbreak. This book will remain in my reading list for eternity because it's just that good. And I can't wait to read Kate's new book, Whistleblower, on Wattpaf because I know it will be just as good, if not better.
This book is one of my favorites. I literally don’t hate to admit that I was up at 3 in the morning dying of laughter at Waverly. This book was super cute and had me laughing til my stomach hurt. Definitely recommend :)
The book I read is called Float. Float is written by Kate Marchant. It was first published in 2012. The author hooked me into the book by being descriptive in the first paragraph. And by doing that, it made me want to read more and see what else had happened. The author truly took her time and molded each character into her own special way. Each character is either awkward in a hilarious way or just plain boring. Personally, I like to read books that are in first person, such as this book. This is probably one of the best books I ever read. Even though the author is only a beginner, she spent a ton of time working on it. I believe this is an amazing book because it is unique in every way. She was being creative when the main character doesn’t know how to swim and trying to protect her of that secret from everyone else. Float is just a matter of craziness of being out in the Florida sun on a beach and being forced to surf when the main character doesn’t know how to swim. I’d have to agree on one thing, though. You should never give up or be embarrassed about something.
Finally, this book is finished. Congratulations to Kate, we (the readers) are so proud of you. I probably found this book when it only had 5 chapters, and ive been reading it ever since. I feel i wouldve loved it so much more if i read it all when i was still 14, but these things take time. Float was amazing, i loved every second, although i will say that i wasnt as in love with the last half as i was with the first half, but thats just probably got to do with my age and change in reading tastes, not the book itself
The book Float by Toasted Bagels was very good. Its genre is romance and some of my favorite parts was when she first came and they explained the place that she was staying in and how it was so colorful. Another part was when Blake said that he loved her. It is worth reading because it make you reflect on your actions more because in the book there are some pretty poor ones and some really good ones. I reccomened for you to rread this story because beautiful love story and is very intesting. This book is best for romanticts because it is a romance book.

One of my favorites in wattpad. The characters are really awkward and just plain adorable. It had me grinning like an idiot. Anyway, I really loved this one.. I wish I had a hot broody neighbor like Blake *drool*
I started this when it was first released, and to finally go back and finish it was absolutely delightful! I was so happy to finally get closure and a Happy Ever After for Waverly!
I love this book so much, that I reread this book whenever I'm bored. Or when I need a Blake moment. Sadly, its not close to finish. I really hope she updates soon, before I know every single word. ;(
