Delectable is book one in the Big Sky Pie series by Adrianne Lee. The first thing you will notice about this book is the oh so juicy looking cover. If it were possible to take on calories just from looking at a book cover, this would be the most calorie laden book ever. I really did love this book. The characters were so endearing and the pies, “sigh!”

This book was. Yeah see I don’t know what to say so instead of attempting to write a review for this I am going to go with the flow and write an interview instead.

Before I do so you’ll probably want a brief introduction so you don’t go blind faced into this.

So basically there is a dude and this dude’s father dies and then he feels guilty because he didn’t go fishing with his dad and so he lashes out at his wife and becomes so pissed that he tells her he wants a divorce. He then flies to Alaska a

Quint is one dumb cowboy. He takes off fishing leaving his new wife alone more times than he should. When he's not fishing he is working on his very successful Real Estate business. Then when his father dies he takes off to go fishing in Alaska without care for his marriage, his wife's feelings or even his mother's pain. He asks for a divorce, and she is ready to give it to him. He's selfish, self centered and about to learn some lessons the hard way.
Callee is Quints wife. She is trying to move

“Quint, my boy, there isn't a problem so big a man can’t solve it with a piece of you mama’s sweet cherry pie in one hand and a fishing rod in the other.”

Apple pie and romance? You can count me in.

I was immediately turned off by the cover, it just seemed tacky but the book was above average. It seemed predictable at first but after the first 2 chapters I wasn't entirely sure what would end up happening.

Quinn just lost his father

YUMMY cover!

Delectable by Adrianne Lee is such cute story that gives you warm mushy feelings after you've finished it. And seriously, if you want to read this book don't read it before you've eaten something. I read it before dinner, and I was so hungry and drooling when they baked that cherry pie in the books. I could almost taste it, the descriptions are amazing. AND we got a receipt at the end of the book on how to bake THE Frozen Sweet Cherry Pie!!! I still crave a pie even though I already

I couldn’t quite get on board with this one. The characters were all right, the plot was all right, and that’s about it – the book is all right. I’m not jumping for joy over this one, but I’m not hating it either.

Quint loses his father and goes off the deep end. It’s so bad, his wife, Callee, up and leaves him. Just as she’s leaving town, she stops by her mother in law’s pie shop to say goodbye. Quint is there, and the mom has a heart attack, this makes Callee hang around until Quint’s mom is ou

I loved it! Delectable had lots of heart, and the story was cute and sweet! I really look forward to future books in this series! I will also look for other books by Adrianne Lee. Delectable has that small town feel, and I throughly enjoyed all the characters. The 2 main characters had great chemistry, and I was rooting for them from the beginning. Delectable is a great start to the Big Pie Sky series! I'll be keeping a look out for the next book.

This book was great! I don't want to post any spoilers, but H & H needed to see the end of the tunnel before they could go back and fix the cracks in the rock. As in many small-towns, everyone was up in everyone else's business. Enjoy!

I received this ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Combine a delicious homemade cherry pie with romance and you have DELECTABLE, the first installment in author Adrianne Lee’s new tantalizing Big Sky Pie Series.

After the sudden death of his father, Quint McCoy took his grief and regrets out on everyone, especially his wife, Callee. After a particular heated argument, he told her to divorce him and he took off for a month-long fishing trip to Alaska.

Returning home determined to put his life back on track, Quint discovers his mother has taken over

Don't read this book while hungry! I have the cravings for Sweet Cherry Pie now! This was a great story of 2nd chances. The plot was good and the characters relatable.

Our story starts out with a sad moment in time for Quint. Only it doesn't get any better for him, only worse. From one rash decision he ends up loosing everything he loves and what is important to him. You feel for both Quint and Callee, they were both dealt a crappy hand.

I got this book free from a blogger. This is my honest review.

The was a very cute, somewhat sexual, little romance that seems to equate the love of pie with the love that draws people together. Sight, fragrance, and taste tempt and creat a "delectable" combination for loving great pies or great lustful relationships.

In Montana, Quint and Callee have been separated for a while after Quint went onto a long secluded fishing trip to deal with the grief over his father's death. When he returns, he f

I found Delectable so refreshing! Instead of boy meets girl until happily ever after, Adrianne Lee gives us a romance about a newlywed couple who almost didn't make it past their first two years of marriage.

With intervention from friends and family, Quint and Callee are thrown together in the kitchen of Big Sky Pie Cafe. They think about rekindling their relationship and decide against it several times. Eventually, all roads do lead to a happily ever after.

I liked how Callee made Quint work f

"I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads."

This book is so full of delicious home made pies that I may have put on weight reading it!

I really enjoyed the storyline, and felt that it was pretty believable - which is a bonus in romance novels, I find. Quint has undoubtedly behaved outrageously, but once he realises just how bad things have got, he does all that he can to remedy the situation. He develops as a character through the book, and gets what he deserves at t

A good story about second chances. Callee and Quint are on the brink of divorce, but these two are brought together again by a pie shop. Will they grab this second chance at their marriage? In order to do that Quint has to get his act together if he wants a chance again with Callee. A lot of emotional hurts these two faced. Easy flow to the story. I really enjoyed the journey these two characters took to reconnect. I liked the theme around Molly's pie shop. Some parts of this story made making a ...more

Book one in Lee’s Big Sky Pie series is a sizzling romance with a likeable cast of characters, both primary and secondary. Quint behaved like a jerk, but grief can affect people in dramatic ways. I found his guilt and anger credible, and I’ve seen firsthand how grief can threaten even apparently solid relationships. Callee’s emotional baggage complicates the situation. I found both these characters engaging, and I love the reunion trope. From the get go, I was rooting for a reconciliation.

Delectable is a romance of second chances and pie. Lots and lots of pie. Quint and Callee's marriage falls apart when his father dies, but the near death of his mother brings them back together. Oh and so does pie!

The Big Sky Pie Shop is a place you'll want to return, so its a good thing that this is the first book in a new "yummy" series. All of the characters are pretty well developed and mostly easy to relate too. I could really understand the breakdown Quint had when his father died. His re

I was pleasantly surprised by "Delectable," it was much better than I had expected it would be! As expected, it read as a sweet romance, with a little heartache mixed in to create the plot. What came as a surprise was that our heroine had a backbone and our hero had some faults. (Gasp!) In addition, the story took a different direction than I had anticipated.

For my personal taste, I would liked to have seen a lot more steamy sex. There was some "lovemaking," but I like erotica in my romance. Gi

Delectable by Adrianne Lee

Family tragedy and hope that love can overcome loss and move forward. A nice small town feeling of friends, friendships and family and love.

Quint McCoy isn't handling his fathers death very well emotionally. He feels lost and abandons his business and wife for fishing in the wild.
Callee is hurt and upset that she can't offer comfort to Quint so when he rages "divorce", she complies and moves out of town. Quint's mother opens a pie shop where his business used to be but

This is a classic case of do not judge a book by its cover. My initial impression was not very high as how good could a book about cherry pie really be? Boy was I ever wrong! This book was not just about pie (although I was craving it the entire time I was reading) but two people overcoming a tragedy and finding their love again.

This story has great character development, a good plot and a sweet romance. It is so much more than baking pies, although I must say even though cherry pie normally do
