well i hate to say it because i love nora roberts but this book is not all that great. the fist title in this double feature is very good. " a will a way" is interesting to say the least. it has everything from love to hate, attempted murder and eccentric family. easy read. however the second title "loving jack" i found extremely difficult to get into. i almost didn't finish it. i found it to be rather boring for a nora roberts book. i only finished it because i had nothing else to read.

You know when you have that really cheesy smile from seeing a really good romantic movie? That is the smile that I had on my face through the entire book! Nora Roberts continues to have my utmost respect and admiration for her writing creativity!

both books in this collection were published in the late 1980s so they were interesting reads for me because of how dated some aspects of the story were but also because they came so early in roberts career as a writer. I enjoyed the references to feminist thinking and the male characters attempts to adapt to the female characters independence.

Two novels published in one edition. I love this kind of reading for vacations. These two were from the late 80's, and the thing I found most jarring was details like emergency communication via telegram. A Will and a Way was two reluctant lovers, plus a bit of a mystery thrown in. Loving Jack was the flighty but bighearted girl and the strait-laced guy.

A Will and A Way was cute. It's one of those forced proximity stories, the interaction between the two characters was fun but contrived murder plots were too much. In Loving Jack, I enjoyed the writing and her colorful descriptions. I vaguely remember reading this when it first came out in 1989.

It was a good story, like all of Nora Roberts. I lost interest a little bit but that's not because of the book or the writing, just more my interest level in a romance at that time waned. I switched to a thriller instead.

This was pretty good, formula Nora Roberts and a good piece of fluff to pass the time. Wasn't my favorite by far, but it was nice to have a few stories to read within the one book. Loving Jack was my fav of the three
