My new #1 series of all! Awesome but depressing now that I've come to the end! Author needs to continue the storyline!!!

Loved this series! I'm not usually a sci fi fan but I got hooked on this series. The downside to the series was that the Kindle edition was full of typos, omitted words, and wrong words. It could be distracting at times. I don't want to rate the book based on all of the errors because it was such a good story. I may try another one if this authors series since this one was so good.

The twelve volumes of "Comet Clement" were great. I had a hard time putting it down through the whole series. Editing wasn't the best, but did not take away from the enjoyment of the story. Look forward to reading more by Kevin George.

Great Read

I am sorry that it had to end. I never read a 12 book series before. That should tell you something.

Well, I've finished this series. I found out what happened next, and my questions were answered. I truly would have liked something a little more drastic to have happened to the chief of staff than what we read, but the other horrible taskmaster of the sea craft got his just deserts. I don't want to spoil everything for other readers, but there are a few things that would make up a great follow up novel in the future for some of our favorite people still alive and living in a new Earth environment. We know a little of AJ's future, but more would be nice. John and Colin's future exploits as well as Lilly and what her future has in store. At least I have some closure on the fate of the Kansas people, isn't ironic that they found things the way they did when they arrived home?
I wondered what had happened to the "baby" it seemed to have been forgotten, but heard the child was taken to Kansas.....somewhere over the rainbow, maybe? I know the child was not Heather's, but at last we knew the child would survive and more than likely thrive in Kansas with good, hard working people. Good Series, like all that end, sad to say the final good-bye to people you get to know and never see or hear from again. Good-bye Comet Clement people, I enjoyed your story.

Very, very good!!!

Received the first three books free and didn't hesitate to buy the rest!! Very enjoyable and engaging read! I noted several negative reviews focusing on grammar, why?! I read to enjoy and relax, these books provided that and more for the past two weeks!! Absolutely loved the storyline and enjoyed every minute! I will read anything and everything by this author!!!

Comet Clement Series (books 1 - 12)

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this series. Anyone who enjoys apocolyptic reading will be entranced as I was! The first few books were a bit plodding but the series as a whole is excellent. I loved the idea of the 3 arks and was pleased that all 3 served their ultimate purpose! Mankind survived! I confess to having binge read the whole series within a week!

Wonderful series

I read all 12 of these books and at the end I wanted them to go on. I got to know the characters like they were friends and I loved them. Long series like this one can sometimes drag on and become boring and stagnant. Not this one. The story stayed fresh and interesting to the very end! I recommend it to anyone who likes apocalyptic stories.

An excellent conclusion to a great series. Several grammatical and spelling errors throughout the series but not enough to detract from the overall storyline. This a good example of how people would react when faced with and end of the world scenario and what they would do in order to survive. I am sorry that this series is finished.

A Second Chance (Comet Clement series, #12)

Everyone is come home. The American space station and the seacreft survivors meet up. Some will stay with the Earth's survivors and some will move on. What will happen to all the survivors? The end is here will it be a happy ending? Great story.

Good end to an entertaining story

The Comet Clement Series end with closure on the multiple storylines that arose in this post apocalyptic study of human behavior and diverse reactions to external factors and eternal emotions. There are realistic responses to personal and group behavior and decision making resulting in an entertaining story.

Creative series of the life after

I liked the way the characters became important. You care about them. I wondered when the film would be shown to people of the events. Victory over the bad guys important to the story. They deserved their punishment.

A good ending to a great series.

The story ends the story of post-Clement earth. The plant and life survives and humanity starts over. The way the individual threads are tied together is satisfying. There are funerals and weddings. Babies are born and old characters move on.

Fantastic - Read It!

This is truly the best comet, apocalyptic series I have ever read. It kept my rapt interest throughout the entire 12 books. The characters become like people you know and care about. I'm sorry to have it end and highly recommend that you read it.

From the first page, this book in the series grabbed me and I was so excited to learn about the return of a character that we’d lost track of. Gripping storytelling and I just loved it! These folks have gone on such a journey together and apart and I’m all for where they’re going. …on go #13!!

I suspended my disbelief and kept saying, “it’s fiction”, but that didn’t work in some areas. Some of the scenarios were just not believable. That coupled with the shallow, selfish, egotistical, and in some cases, immature characters made me want to “put the book down”.
BUT, the storyline was interesting, so I kept reading. Of course I skipped over the redundant sections of book(s). I didn’t think it was necessary to repeat/recap the story line every third chapter (in some cases). This may be aimed at young adults, but I would hope none who read this are as shallow and vindictive as portrayed by some of the characters (he looked at her, so I’m leaving him, or kill him).
Some of the unbelievable parts included:
Let’s build a massive space station without anyway to maintaining it, unless you are tethered to the station. Where are the autonomous backpacks, where are the small utility space vehicles, where are extra fuel modules (containers)?
On the ground, you build a huge underground facility and never stock shovels? Come on now. Even an electric golf cart or two would have helped. Five years and all the characters in the underground facility didn’t take the time to learn Russian or English? Everyone knew that the world would ice over, but not snow vehicles were stockpiled (snow mobiles, snow cats).
Build a huge undersea vehicle, without a periscope? Without escape hatches. Live on it for 5 years and have a 2 year opportunity to learn how to run it, and just sit and wait; do nothing? Cars sit in a hot, then cold environment for five years, then just start up, if they have gas?
There is more, but, like I said, the storyline overall had merit. On closing, get a better editor and proof reader. Someone who can catch some of the technical issues would hele also.
So I waited until I finished the 12 book set, before I wrote a review, so others would have the chance to read the whole series also. Book 1, 2, and 12 were the best of the set.

This series was EXCELLENT! I downloaded the first one for free with bookbub.com and was immediately hooked. Thankfully, Kevin George is an independent author so the rest of the series was very reasonably priced and he even gives you a free chapter that wraps up a little side business with one of the characters if you like his Facebook page. The characters are so tangible and realistic. There are heroes, there are a-holes (some with no chance of being redeemed and others who show glimmering potential), and everyone is believable. You will enjoy this series, I have no doubt.
