توثيق لبروفايلات حوالي 150 مخرج ياباني، بمقدمه مختصرة عن مسيرة كل مخرج وحصر بكل أفلامه لحد سنة 2007 .. قريته باستعجال شديد لإني كنت عايز أطلع منه معلومات محددة وناوي أرجعله تاني على مهلي ويمكن ده اللي آثر على انطباعي عنه، الكتاب في المجمل مهتم يعرفك بأكبر قدر من المخرجين "المهمين" أكتر ما هو مهتم يكلمك عنهم وده بيخليه مصدر مهم للبحث خصوصاً إن في معلومات مش موجودة على الانترنت أو موجودة بصورة غلط، لكن بعيد عن المعلومات المباشرة فالتحليل اللي بيحاول يقدمه لمسيرة المخرجين بيبقى في أوقات كتير مش أكت

Encyclopedia of directors. Focuses on golden age, canonical directors and not very comprehensive of contemporary ones. The criticism is often weak, neglecting opinion on goodness or badness, and with little recommendation of the best films in vast filmographies. I could excuse these flaws as academic but that's not an excuse really.
