Savannah Rae Bailey was definitely not dealt a fair hand in life. Having grown up in a single family home, with only her mother, and her mother’s boyfriend. Not only was she molested at the hands of her mother’s boyfriend but she also never met her father and didn’t know who he was, which makes her feel as though she is not wanted or loved. Since being robbed of her innocence her mother soon dies when Savannah is a young age which leaves her in the hands of a foster home. Growing up in the system with no one really to depend on but herself and her friend Benji, Savannah’s heart begins to turn cold. Having grown up doing things that will ensure she will never live the life she lived as a child, going without having many things especially love. Savannah makes sure she only cares about her feelings, wants and needs by any means necessary. Being as beautiful as she is the men drool over her and the ladies hate her which she uses to her advantage by using her body to get what she wants in life. She comes head on with a bad decision she has made which starts her world to be hectic. Trying to start new and stay on the right path is not always as easy as it may sound or seem, but Savannah is willing to give it a try and be known for what she knows not what she looks like. Starting a new life brings Savannah to finding someone she has an actual interest in, but having never loved and not being sure of the future she doesn’t know if she should take that path. Savannah is faced with past decisions, trying to find herself, trying to leave the past in the past and enjoy her future, but will she be able to handle everything that starts to come her way, the good and the bad?

This book has a message behind it, that the reader will have to read to fully understand. I enjoyed the read, I felt that it was good. While I did feel that it was good and that the character could be relatable to some, I felt like there were parts of the book I wish were separated a little more. Like the book would be dealing with one character and their issues in one paragraph and in the next it would start talking about someone else. So if there was better separation of the two I think would have flowed better. I also felt that sometimes the character went on tangents like he was about to answer the phone but then he started thinking about something else and then answered the phone. The story was well written, it seems like the author gave a lot of thought into the book before she say down and wrote it. I did enjoy the lessons throughout the book and hopefully others will appreciate them as well. The book did have secrets, some drama, and a few lessons that will keep the readers going. Overall, good read I would read something else by this author.

In Revenge Interrupted by T. L. Tucker readers are introduced to Savannah Bailey, a hardworking associate at Finnbean and Morgan, a prestigious law firm. Savannah is loyal to her job and also loyal to fraternizing with Alex, one of the lawyers. Savannah is used to getting her way and does not see why it should be a problem until…

Savannah is confronted by Alex’s wife and her life takes a drastic change. Now all Savannah wants to do is forget it ever happened. She takes a job at another firm with strict goals that she will not have a relationship with a married man. Will Savannah reach her goal?

Langston Carter is instantly attracted to the new employee at his firm. Langston takes his time until he convinces Savannah to go out with him. Savannah does not want to make the same mistakes but her desires for Langston are starting to take control. When Langston invites Savannah to dinner with his friends, she ends up staring her past in the face. Will Langston and Savannah’s relationship survive?

Revenge Interrupted is about being mindful of the company that you keep. The main character learns a lot about herself and her past in this entertaining book of suspense and drama. The twists and turns in the book were unsuspected and kept my attention. The author does a wonderful job expressing that getting involved with a married man comes with consequences. I recommend Revenge Interrupted to others.

BBC has created a 2013 book roster that consist of suggested good reads that where written by various authors who have 'liked' our facebook page and have requested that we select their book as one of our monthly choices. “Revenge Interrupted” by Author T.L. Tucker is one of those novels and for the ladies who have read it overall we got a resounding thumbs up. This was one of those books that once you got started you just didn't want to put it down until you finished reading it. Although Author T.L. Tucker novel is definitely rated PG it captivates you and keeps you entwined as you go through a plethora of emotions/experiences. A detailed well written storyline, one that is true to life for some in that sometimes you're dealt a bad hand in life. The main character Savannah, was definitely dealt a bad hand. This novel was very inspirational, because although the main character went through so much in her life there is a rainbow at the end of the storm. BBC wishes Author T.L. Tucker the very best and looks forward to more good reads from her in the future.

Love and Deception

Savannah was molested as a child and soon after that she lost her mother at an early age. She was bounced around between several different foster homes and she could never really seem to find a sense of self or the family unit that she craved. As an adult, because of her rough life, Savannah is out for revenge for anyone that has hurt her.

This book, “Revenge Interrupted” by T.L. Tucker, gets a 5- star rating because it lets you know that even though life throws you curve balls you do not have to let it get you down and you can change from a hateful, spiteful person to a loving one by forgiving those who have wronged you and learn how to love yourself and accept love from others. The characters in this book show the true meaning of love and have the motives for revenge but not all revenge is meant to be carried out.
