This book is the sort of book I would have loved to have found in a second hand book store when I was 12 or 13. Musty, pulpy and spooky. Culled mostly from news paper stories and supposed interviews, it can't help but appear to have something of a Weekly World News kind of sensationalism to it, delving into the creepy vision of witch craft that people had in the 60's in the UK and then in 70's Hollywood. Peter Alexander Haining (April 2, 1940 – November 19, 2007) was a British journalist, author and anthologist who lived and worked in Suffolk. Born in Enfield, Middlesex, he began his career as a reporter in Essex and then moved to London where he worked on a trade magazine before joining the publishing house of New English Library.
