Fun to go through - I'm ready to go on a bike trip! I'm not sure I'd carry this book with me though -- it is a bit bulky, not "durable" and also not detailed enough. For trip planning and an overview it is good. In the resources there are a few apps highlighted, I think I'd check those out for a multi-day trip.

I heard that this was THE BOOK to read for the details of riding the Blue Ridge parkway. I hope to do that some day. This will be a great resource. What is really cool is that the authors live in Winston Salem.
