So much fundamental material in so little space! Watch out for the very rare typo in code. Considering that this is not supposed to be a complete reference, I wouldn't believe that so much can be taught in so little space if I hadn't read this. Great start!!

Concise and easy to understand JS intro for experienced people. Explains and solves by example, most of the quirks in JS.


A great fast start book, that must be continued by reading Kyle Simpson's must-read "You don't know JS" series.

A nice quick introduction to Javascript. Not a reference for the Javascript libraries which is okay by me.
