It has been a reading that I liked very much. I liked the rhythm that made me want to read the next cap and be very intrigued by the turn the story would take

Suspense with a capital S. Wow what a story. this one will have you sitting on the edge of your seat with all the twists and turns. Mayayla realizes that the man she'd married is pure evil and has no soul. Her escape from him with her son leads to danger and more danger. Quite a read with a little time jump. I received an arc of this book and voluntarily chose to review it because it was that good.

No slow build-up with this thriller. You're thrown right into the heart of the action from the very beginning and it doesn't let up until you've turned the last page. I would've liked a little more of Ryan and Makayla's story, but other than that, I enjoyed the read and would recommend it.

This one started out really strong for me. The author just throws you into the middle of Makayla's story and while some might find that confusing, I LOVE IT when author's start off their adventure that way. Right off the bat, you hate Makayla's husband. He seems to be a sadistic bastard that everyone's nightmares revolve around. This Steven character is the monster under your bed, the bad guy in the closet. As scary as it is, I'm sure there is

WOW what a wonderful book! This kept my interest throughout.
I love books like this, its away from the leading fashion of books at the moment, erotica, man meets girl, girl looses man, man finds girl, type of reads.

This had depth and hidden depths. I got myself buried within the confines of this writing, page after page.

Meliissa Ohnoutka. I thought, who is that? now that I have read this book I will certainly be following her.

****ARC received in exchange for my honest review****

Thrown into the middle of the story I was hooked from the beginning. I felt for Makayla and her little son and fell in love with Ryan, the knight in shining armor. I thought about ways to end the existens of Steven and felt as powerless as Makayla. But then one of her sons goes missing and the other tries to get him back and I really become scared for this little family. If you like a good thriller this is the book for you.

Received an ARC copy from Netgalley for a honest review. Loved it! Storyline was well written, suspenseful and intriguing. I was swept into the storyline from the beginning and could not put down. At times, I was holding my breath thinking Good lord what is gonna happen next. First book for me by this author. Would recommend.

I was instantly hooked when I read the summary. Lately, I have been reading a lot of thrillers and this book fits right in. It can get scary and intense. But you root for the make character. Makayla and her child, Michael, leaves her psychotic husband, Steven. Steven is a dangerous man, who is obsessed with his wife. He does terrible things to get, mentally and physically. He wants to own her, possess her, and keep her. When she runs, of course he is not too far along trying to find her. When he ...more
