First appeared under the title "The Silver Box" in "The Sunday Magazine", Jun 9, 1907.

It next appeared in the anthology "Stories to be Read with the Door Locked" which
was edited by Alfred Hitchcock and which was published in 1975.

This is a very good mystery story if you are interested in very intellectual, very
analytical mystery stories.

I read this in one of Hitchcock's compilations. I honestly can't remember much about this one. Giving it the benefit of the doubt and giving it three stars. Seems fair enough. At the end of the day, it's just another rating towards my account.
