Email-Order Bride
It's obvious to Eli Laughlin that Victoria Anderson has misrepresented herself. But the hardheaded rancher doesn't care. When he advertised for a wife with ranching experience, he never expected to land anyone as intoxicatingly lovely as Tori. Now he's having fun watching her try to bluff her way through ranch work.

The prenup has given them a month to get

I loved this arranged marriage story. Its a really sweet cute story with great chemistry. Hero and heroine eventually fall in love but when heroine's secret past is revealed hero is hurt, angry and wants a divorce. Poor heroine was a sweet and loving woman she didn't deserve what her asshole father put her through. Glad she found a family and a HEA with Eli! :)

Very good book. Tori had been desperate to leave Charlotte and start over when she found Eli's ad for a bride. Even though she knew nothing about ranching she applied anyway. The one thing she didn't do was to tell Eli all about her past right away, deciding to wait until she knew if she was going to stay.

I really liked Tori and Eli. Tori was making the best of a bad situation by getting away from her father's scandal in Charlotte. Even though she had lied about her experience she was determine

This was a really sweet book!

This was an ad that Eli had posted:
Wanted: Intelligent, well educated, single female with high morals and good character, age 25 – 30, for immediate marriage to a Wyoming cattle ranch. Must have ranching experience, know how to ride a horse and want children. Only qualified applicants need apply. If interested, email:

Eli had no idea that he would find someone that he would have an instant attraction too. Could it be love at first sight

I really liked this book a lot. It was light reading that left you felling satisfied at the end.

Eli is a wealthy rancher who is looking for a wife, an email order bride, who will help out at the ranch and give him an heir. His ranch work keeps him so busy that he doesn't have the time to go about finding a wife the traditional way.

Victoria is the chosen one. She is thrilled to have a new start in life. Even though she tried to tell Eli about her past, he kept interrupting and unfortunately he fo

Mmm it is so similar to Linda Howard's Duncan 's Bride which is one of my favourite so I felt this one repeated

The definition of a cozy romance is one in which there's no sex or violence on the page. In the Rancher's Arms doesn't meet that definition because there are sex scenes, but in pretty much every other way it fits the bill. The two main characters, Eli and Tori, are ultra nice people with virtually no flaws. They get along great and are super considerate and respectful to each other. There's virtually no conflict throughout the whole book until the final climax and that's resolved in a few short ...more

n the Rancher’s Arms by Kathie DeNosky

Eli Laughlin had a feeling that Victoria Anderson was lying about having ranching experience when she answered his ad for an online bride. Victoria had her reasons for lying to Eli. She needed to escape Charlotte. She was homeless and virtually penniless, her friends had all abandoned her and she was getting death threats. She saw marrying Eli and moving to his Wyoming ranch as the perfect opportunity. So what if she has never met him face to face and only c

The characters appeared to be carbon copy cut-outs from every other romance plot. The only difference is the setting. While the setting was good, the plot dragged. I would expect that romance novels should have comedy added, or at least sarcasm and wit to leave us chuckling at the preposterous situation the characters finds themselves in. Unfortunately, this novel took a good set-up, perfect for page turning entertainment, and managed to make it boring. Reading about how the characters struggle ...more

It's actually 3.5 stars... I loved the beginning and the epilogue and Buck. But somehow it's a bit flat when it came to their love-making. I'd love to have a man like Eli because, really, he's so sweet. But (there's another 'but'), I can't shake this funny feeling every time Tori called his name, "Eli", because it kept reminding me to the way my 18 months niece called my father, "Eliiiii....." few months ago.
No, my father's name is not Eli. But, unknown to us why, somewhere in October-November 2

I loved this book, the storyline is not really something you would probably see happen in real life but Kathie DeNosky has a way of writing that it seems believable. Eli has put an ad out for a bride and she must know how to work a ranch. Tori is running away from her previous life because her dad stole billions of dollars from his investors. Eli knows she has no knowledge of ranch life but he gets a kick out of watching her try. Its a really cute, sweet story with great chemistry. I loved how E ...more

4.5 Stars

In the Rancher’s Arms by Kathie DeNosky is a fun, sexy and entertaining read, mail-order bride in the new century, you know this will be interesting.

Victoria Anderson is trying to get as far way from her past as possible. She may not have a lot of money to her name, but any place is better than Charlotte where everyone knows her. After not being able to get hired anywhere and so many threats from the people her father stole money from, she knows that she must become a whole new person.

Eli and Tori. Cute, predictable but entertaining. Eli grovels well.
Eli puts out an ad for a wife and contrary to his own ad and common sense, accepts Tori for the position. He knows she has no experience, but he loves her southern drawl and hard working nature. Tori knows that before they go too far in their relationship, she needs to fess up about how she got into the predicament where marrying a stranger in another state was the only answer. Even though you know what's coming when the truth 'o
