I bought this so my son and I could build siege weapons together (you know, as the modern family does). The first two I put together were a little rough, but by the third it got much easier. I am surprised about how powerful some of them are. Heed the warnings for eye protection! It's no joke!

I anticipate making a lot more of them and having fun with this book for quite some time.

A little better than Vol. 1. I tried this because it said "siege weapons". There is no torsion part of the Ballistae. Just a plain rubber band bow/sling shot. As in Vol. 1. I checked this out thinking cubicle warfare. I just want to launch an item at a co-worker! But some of the stuff described here is downright dangerous! I suppose this would be a cool book for someone else, just not me. Why would I try to do this in the office? Just make a slingshot from your fingers and a rubber band.
