Sophia Hastings dreams of nothing more than a successful acting career, but she swears having to work with Hollywood heartthrob Christian Ryder would make her reconsider. Will she really let her need for revenge destroy her dreams?
With the help of her best friend Tori, Sophia travels to Hollywood for a fun, summer vacation. There, she lands the lead role in a hot, new Hollywood film, Kidnap My Heart. It seems like everything is finally falling into place, and she’s overjoyed. Until she finds out that her leading man is none other than Christian Ryder.
Now, Sophia is expected to work with the person she hates most. Now, Christian is expected to work with the bratty newbie who’s determined to bring him down several notches.
Is it even possible for these two to learn to get along long enough to make a movie, or will jealousy, scandal and revenge destroy their careers?
I started this book a few days ago, at first it was funny how rude she was. BUT, as the book progressed and she was crossing lines which even with a reason she shouldn't have done it. One of the things she has been through in middle school happened to me when I was 2nd grade. How cool huh? But I'd never hated a person with so much hatred. I know the second thing was bad and oh boy how bad it was. But, she was too rude and crosses many lines. If it was a guy being this rude to a girl they would call him names and say their relationship is toxic. I appreciate the writer for writing the story. But, it just wasn't my kind of book. In no way I enjoy rudeness and lines crossers. Entering someone else's house is illegal. Again so many unrealistic stuff happened in the book which should have been illegal. I did not enjoy it. It had a few funny parts and cute romantic ones but other than that plain annoying.
Wow, um ok... This book was so freaking amazing at the beginning, what happened? All the characters got on my nerves so bad, I was constantly annoyed throughout the book because of this. Sophia is a real stubborn & judgemental person that makes everything about her constantly, she is constantly contradicting herself too and it grated my nerves to no end. Christian was an arrogant jerk and also made everything about him. He thought he was just a gift to the world. But what "hot" guy doesn't? Tori was an unsupportive best friend, who clearly didn't really care about Sophia's feelings no matter what was said. She thought Christian could do no wrong even if she saw it with her own eyes. What the heck? I would have ditched her already :( I honestly did like this at first, it was funny and kept my interest, but then the characters were constantly fighting and then Christian "magically" had feelings for her. They told horrible accusations to paparazzi about one another and you think you should be together?? In an authors note at the beginning of a chapter, I read something that honestly kind of ticked me off. Apparently your not worthy of being a writer if you want to know the reader's opinion on what should happen next. Even if you weren't planning to use it, you're not worthy of being an author. It ticked me off and kind of ruined the rest of the book for me. Sincerely disappointed...
I really disliked Sophia so much, especially since Christian was so oblivious to everything. I mean I get what he just slept with her for a bet or something but she just ruined the entire book by being extremely uncompromising & difficult.

I absolutely know for sure that i enjoyed this novel. The lighthearted humor and the intriguing characters made my laugh more than once. Finding this on wattpad made my day. Everytime I reread this, the world becomes brighter since I feel i can make it through another day happy and positive.
I liked the story, but I wanted to strangle the main character more than anything throughout the read. Sophia was too DARN RUDE. Even if she had a reason, I still disliked her in general.
