Santa’s Executive is book two in the Holiday, Montana series by Carrie Ann Ryan. This is the first book I have read in this series and it was fine to start with book two. I chose this book to add to my Christmas line up because it sounded like a really different sort of paranormal romance Christmas book. In that respect, it really was. As much as I love my paranormal romance, though, for some reason I couldn’t get into it as much as I wanted to. The characters were sweet but I gu

This is the story of Justin who finds out that he is going to be working for Santa. Rina is the elf who tells him all about his new job and helps him with his new position. While working together they become more than co workers but there is someone who doesn't like all the developments taking place.

This is a super cute romance with a wonderful twist on some Christmas myths. It is a light, low angst, cute story that is easy to enjoy. I highly recommend to those is the mood for a story with a Ch

Guess I'm the only one who hated this book. It just seemed to be disjointed and jumped all over the place. The whole plot was beyond ridiculous and seemingly pointless. Though at first I liked Justin Cooper, I really disliked Rina Brewer. I felt the story just rushed too fast into lust and sex. For Pete's sake, Rina's a sheltered elf who's never left the North Pole and suddenly she's in love and having naughty sex. It just didn't ring true. ...more

I feel like I should apologize for not liking this. It feels like I am a Scrooge. But this just did not work for me. However, I believe a lot of people will love the story.

It is hard for me to describe, but a story that includes Santa, elves and teleporting snow globes just did not work for me. It was too hokey. And the bad guy element really irked me. I thought that plot made Santa look like an incompetent idiot.

The relationship was cute and sweet. I was worried this was clean when I

This book was my first pick of the month, and I have to say, it definitely improved upon the first book, Charmed Spirits! It got me into the Christmas spirit, and also reminded me that Christmas is more than the commercialized holiday that we’re force fed the day after Halloween. It reminded me that the holiday is about caring about your fellow men, and trying to give them a bit of cheer. It didn’t hurt that the romance was super steamy and it was an amusing, enjoyable read. Looking forward to t ...more

Continuing the series of Holiday Montana. The baddies just keep getting more and more menacing. School principal Justin Cooper finds out he has another job lined up for him and a cute little elf to fill him in on all the details. If Carrie Ann Ryan didn't write such hot and kinda dirty stuff I would call this story cute. In par with her other stories it does get a little dark and a very menacing villain who gets a butt whooping. Warning you just may end up craving sugar cookies. ...more

Myths and magic. Elves and Santa. We get to see what was bothering Justin. With help from Rina, Justin gets to love the holidays again and find magic in everyday. Jack Frost lives up to his name and mischief. Santa turns out to be more than we could have imagined.

Gregory gave us his voice and crisp characters.

Though part of the "Holiday, Montana" series, "Santa's Executive" can be read as a stand alone book. However, why would you want to. The first book "Charmed Spirits" was fantastic and "Santa's Executive" continues the trend!

What a stinkin' fun holiday story. I love to read Christmas stories and this one was so very different from the others I have read. The idea of Justin being Santa's Executive was fascinating and having his love be an elf added all sorts of whimsy. Of course there are the cookies. You can not have someone working for Santa who does not love cookies. Justin was my favorite brother, so that only made this book all the more magical.

Ok so here are the things I am sure you want to know:

Justin learns to use his magic to be Santa's helper

This was Justin's story. He is the principal at the school. He loves working with the kids but for some reason, even though it is almost Thanksgiving, he is not feeling very festive. He feels lonely. And he has developed a craving for sugar cookies constantly.
Rina is an elf at the North Pole. Her job is organizing the lists and making sure that Santa's executives are doing okay. When she calls Justin, she realizes that he knows nothing about it.

I LOVE xmas stories - gobble them up like nobodies business - and store up on them in December so I've enough to last me through the year, hence me reading this out of the wintery season.

I heartily enjoyed Santa's Executive. Not only was it a seriously sweet (from cookies) and cute read, Carrie Ann brought the heat, too. Heat is even sexier in snowy settings, don't ya think? A swoon-a-lcious hero, tasty xmas treats, and a cute yet heartfelt romance makes this a five star Christmas read for me! O

There is not a Carrie Ann Ryan book that I have read that I have not loved!!! This is the second book in the series, it's about Justin and Rina and I love all the funny one liners, sexiness, and bad boy that is in this book. There are sexy elves, Jack Frost and Christmas magic as well. Rina is there to help Justin make this the best Christmas ever but someone from his past is there to foil them every step of the way. It is paranormal romance but not the typical paranormal that you're expecting. ...more

Justin has been feeling out of sorts lately and things in the small town may not be what he thought it was...

Oh, Peppermint Balls (those who read the book know...), this was a great book to read. One that was hard to put down once I began to read it.

The chemistry between the main to characters was interesting to say the least. The storyline was different and unique. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this intriguing and great series that is a solid five star read by Carrie Ann.

I loved this story! So much I will reread it come Christmas. Rina is one of Santa's elves but she is unhappy with her job. Taking matters into her own hands she put herself into the job as Justin's assistant. The snow globe transport is genius. Justin doesn't know he is one of Santa's executives. Rina's boss arrives to wreak havoc. Bah humbug for Jack Frost. This story is unique, hot and sweet. It was a joy to read.
