This is a "must read" book for readers with strong "A-type personalities" or readers who are married to one. When Leaders Live Together lets the reader in on candid conversations with Larry and Devi Titus, two strong and gifted leaders. With both care and candor, this ministry "power couple" shares honest, practical, and sometimes theological insights that can revolutionize a marriage and release both the reader and their spouse to shine at their brightest. If you are looking for simplistic "submit and be satisfied" solutions for your readers, be prepared to be thoughtfully, lovingly challenged. When Leaders Life Together delivers compelling insights on:
How Headship and Leadership differ Embracing your diversity The curse of criticism Releasing your spouse to thrive Caution zones that can derail even a strong relationship
Book that neatly unpacks the challenges of what happens when two type-A leaders are married to one another. Has a bit of Love & Respect to it but is told back and forth between the wife and the husband, each commenting on a particular challenge of marriage/relationships.
Not overly complex or very preachy but a nice practical guide to the difficulty in sharing space in a marriage with TWO people who want to drive.
I took away some useful, practical applications, or at least perspectives. Worth your time.
