Lots of great tips. Almost wish I'd read this before I started my book. It's probably better suited for that. But this will certainly help me as I start making edits, which will likely involve moving around large chunks -- as well as cutting a bit. The exercises are pretty good, too. Especially the character exercises, which will help me add depth to the people I introduce, especially to help others get to know them as well as I did.

Read this on a whim, she has a good system of focus for memoir writing and good advice. Not that I'm planning to. But who knows.
