In her brilliant follow up to Fire in the Blood, Ibitz continues with his mastery of the English language and with her well developed mythology to create a work that is difficult to beat. Her descriptions make this world vividly real.

The mythology that we learn about in the first novel of the series is further developed here. We find out a great deal more about the lands and their relationship with the gods. We also find out about the connections between the demi-gods and their place in the hie

(This review may contain spoilers).

I really liked the second book in this series. I felt there was more action overall and the supporting characters were really well-developed.

There were a few instances in the book that surprised me, but they did make sense when I got to the end of the book. By the last page, I really didn't like Luke, but Tesla had grown on me quite a bit.

It was good to see more of the world and its peop

"Strong Blood," book two in the Last Moon Rising Series, is as action-packed and intense as book one, "Fire in the Blood." Haley is still learning her way around in her new world, Eyidora. The veil of mystery that shrouds so many characters makes it hard for her to know who she can trust, she hears things, watches people, but its as clear as mud to her if there is anyone she can truly trust. The dreamstates she is experiencing are frightening, and she can't get enough control to stop them, the g ...more

Haley is still learning who she can trust and still doesn't have any answers either. She keeps finding herself in dreamstate battling Ian. She also meets Mystery Boy in dreamstate. In dreamstate Haley learns about another Eyid Stone in the Tamoor region. Haley tries to shield herself from others and dreamstate but isn't having any luck. Tuggin and Elana are hiding something from Haley. Tuggin tells Haley not to trust anyone including him. Yet Haley can't help how she feels about Tuggin and wonde ...more

Haley and Ian continue their battle for the Eyid stones in the second installment of Last Moon Rising Series. On Haley's search for the stones she meets new people and discoveries the reality of the different clans/groups on the Eyidora.

Haley is your typical teen. She has all the trust issues of any teenager, and is constantly questioning her friends motives - if you can even call them friends. Are they? I don't know but I desperately want to know what is going on with her and Tuggin. As a hott

My review: This second book picks up a little while after Haley has been in her home training in some of the control techniques she needs to try to survive while she searches for the stones needed to bring harmony back to the seven globes. She still isn't too sure who she can trust and doesn't make very good choices n that score. This book I found more interesting than the last although that one was pretty good too. Now that she has went on the adventure and found the Land stone and some allies ...more

In the second instillation of the Last Moon Rising Series, we find Hadley, Elana, and Tuggin still tangled up together in a twisted "should they be or shouldn't they be trusted" plot string. I like that no one really seems to be who they say they are in this series. Here we're also introduced to a second set of twins, Luke and Telsa who also apparently have secondary motives.

It really was a brilliant follow-up to the last book. In Strong Blood, the story delves into that mythology that Fire in the Blood began. The language is beautiful, the wording is beautiful, and the descriptions... be still my heart. It's not an 'OMG THAT WAS THE MOST AMAZING THING I'VE EVER READ IN MY LIFE!!!!' book, but it was very good. I look forward to the next one. ...more

This book was amazing, this book had so many turns and twists that it just left me stunned. I just loved the chemistry with Tuggin and Haley and I also loved the hate-love thing between both of them, it was amazing. Fire in the Blood (Last Moon Rising #1) Fire in the Blood by Dale Ibitz

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Okay, this book was super duper good and I just love TUGGIN! The story came off a bit confusing but then everything just fell into place and I just loved how Tuggin took care of Haley even though he was acting as if he just hat

This book has given me a hard time. I love the action and the plot. When exciting stuff was happening, I was reading every single word. But when the excitement died down I so did my interest. I found the main character Haley to be really stupid. She forgot tons of life saving stuff and focused more on whether or not Tuggin was going to kill her. Also, they had plenty of opportunity to grap Ian's stone but they didn't w

Dale Ibitz was born in Oxford, Connecticut, grew up in the state of Washington, and then re-located back to Connecticut as an adult. Always a lover of books, she spent much of her childhood reading, visiting the library (her best friend’s mother was a librarian…how convenient), and writing. She majored in English at Central Connecticut State University, and while Dale holds a full-time day job whe ...more
